That's what I had in mind...
I think I have read we will see some new engines in Paris. 3 cyl diesel. With the facelift in march additional new engines will be offered, b48. Though I think the N55 will still be there even in march.
Not sure when the b58 will be offered.
It is more logical that the b48 will also be available from march 2015 as it is already available for the 2 active tourerI expect the 1 Series LCI to debut at Paris, which opens to the public on Saturday 4th October. I am going on the 6th.
The 114d and 116d will adopt the B37 engine in November 2014.
LCI starts production in March 2015. Then we'll get the B38 engines in the 114i and 116i, B37 in the 118d, and the B47 in the 120d and 125d.
M135i will keep N55 for a while longer, and then move to the B58 in July 2016. At the same time, the 120i and 125i will get the B48.
I don't think that Bmw will present the 1lci during paris motor show as they want to focus on the launch of the 2 active tourer which is a key product for the french market
6 months off? I expect it to be launched at Paris.
Only Scott can help us
I disagree.
Only God can help us, if BMW's new entry level sedan comes with FWD. I never thought I'd see the Audification of BMW...
Seems right as saw this same info on the Autoevolution website.I expect the 1 Series LCI to debut at Paris, which opens to the public on Saturday 4th October. I am going on the 6th.

The only motor shows between Paris and Geneva next March are Los Angeles in November and Detroit in January, and the 1 Series isn't sold in the U.S., so it won't be launched there. I expect the 3 Series LCI to get its facelift debut in Geneva next March, so it won't be the 1 Series then.
No, Scott isn't the only one who can help us. There are other sources out there other than Scott. In fact Scott is often WRONG. He said the 1 Series LCI was the next major release, and that was April I seem to recall, which is why I held off ordering my M135i. We're still waiting for the LCI for the 1 Series.
Gee, I wish common sense would prevail...
And as far as 1 Series LCI, I just don't know why BMW would keep that a secret for Paris. They could easily bring the car to Detroit, it's the largest auto show and no major product announcement. It's not an U.S. show only and in fact, the show is handled entirely by BMW AG, not NA.
