A6/S6/RS6 [Spyshots] Audi A6 spied for the first time

The new A8 has been receiving very favorable reviews in the German-language automotive press. I trust that this will be the case pertaining to the new A7 and A6 as well. Auto Motor & Sport will reportedly be featuring a comprehensive test of the new A7 in its' next issue, at newsstands in just under 2 weeks time. It should be interesting.

The most visually attractive of the Marc Lichte Audis' so far.

Unlike the A8 and A7 Sportback, I can find little if anything to criticize. It even displays some elements of "sensuality" that is otherwise missing from its' highly, perhaps excessively technoid siblings.

After the A8 and A7,I thought they would ruin the A6,but boy I was so wrong.Love it,but still hate the cold interior though.

Surprisingly brutal and muscular it doesn't conform to the conservative looks this segment is known for.

I prefer the elegance of the A7.

Oh, very very nice surprise.

Front: 5er > A6 > E
Rear: A6 > 5er > E
Interieur: E > > nothing.

Just my small cents :)

Kind of ugly, and the old A6 was a better design as expected.
Like going from D3 to D4. D3 was also a masterpiece that could not be replicated.

What I dislike most is the straight hood shutline going over the entire length of the front over the headlights. Audi is the master of hood shutlines, but this here aint it for me.

And that rear is as bad as the A4. Almost twins in that regard design wise.

Good looks overall but as klier pointed, why Audi is using so many straight lines... like they design the cars with a grid ruler.

I think in person it will look awesome.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
