I’m somewhat let down by the interior. It doesn’t look expensive enough. I like the current interior better. RR still has a nicer interior.
The clock should have been where the differential locks are. Nobody uses those these days.
It's not supposed to be as nice as the RR interior. This is still supposed to be the rugged model. The GLS will be covering the ultra luxury front.
That is NOT the G-wagen niche. But, this interior is just as impressive. Particularly with the NTG 5.5. If you guys haven't experienced the tech platform then you are missing out. It is off the charts. It's good, but it's far from perfect. I think that the Range looks far more luxurious in the inside.

I don’t even know why you took the time to explain something that is widely known. Since we’re splitting hairs, the interior DOES NOT look expensive enough for a vehicle that starts at 100K+.
No way ! The Diff locks are a way more important G-Class design element. Analogue clocks are for grandpa. The clock should have been where the differential locks are. Nobody uses those these days.
The current interior definitely looks more expensive.
You need new glasses, the new one looks way more luxurious and uses better looking materials in the interior. Compare all black vinyl dash to the new one with aluminium and stitched faux leather and more metal inserts on switches etc. the new one looks and hopefully feels more expensive inside. The current interior definitely looks more expensive.
