We seen way too many mule pics and videos, don't post anymore of that crap unless its a car that's got no disguise on.

They recently ran into Dr. Z on the S-Class final assemby line in Sindelfingen, when the 20 millionth car was produced. A movie may be presently in production. :)

Somebody tell the doctor to never wear a suit with a pair of sneakers trainers.

3-4 weeks to full reveal seems excessive given how much of the damned thing has already been seen? Most especially because the car is so similar to the C and S...

Waouw the mustache guy has a special sense of style.

^Could this be a part of the delivery center (similar to BMW Welt) in which the customer cars get their finish cleaning, check and others?

Suit jacket, white shirt, jeans, and bloody running sneakers?! Zetsche must have been the person that signed off on the interior of the SL.

LOL I think it's awesome. The most important guy of one of the biggest companies in the world walking around his factory like that in his sneakers: AWESOME.

Somehow they got away not wearing the required gloves, though. :)

That guy in front of the gray S class is wearing his gloves ;)

Come again? Just ignore them if they bother you. This is the spy pic thread.

As a rule: You are only allowed to interview Zetsche if you exactly match his dress code.
Here you have to wear
1. blue jeans
2. white shirt
3. blue jacket.
Or they are twins...

LOL they starting a new line of fashion for Mercedes Benz. Maybe some 3 pointed star belt buckles included!

As far as I'm concerned, with the job he has been doing at Mercedes-Benz, the man can wear whatever he wants lol.

I suppose MB is really getting back in touch with German corporate culture wherein CEO's are not necessarily paid absurd amounts of money (*cough* Schrempp *cough*).

He is still not short of a penny earning 8.25 million Euros in 2013.

He has really changed around Mercedes Benz from the late 1990's to early 2000's quality and reliability bad period to a very successful current period. Exciting new models, great quality and luxury and superb reliability in models together with stylish looks have elevated the brand to levels it hasn't seen since the brilliant models in the 1980's.

^ Reliability problems are still there even in the top model, that is what I read about W222.

IMO 1980s era for MB was the pinnacle. MB was much more exclusive, more prestigious and had the most beautifully designed sedans and GT car lineup in the automotive world. Today they have a very mixed bag. the S class is very nice but the current C lacks the impact of the 190E. The new C coupe looks ordinary compared to BMW coupe. SL is still a mess with the facelift and so is the SLK/C. Still the most attractive and the most expensive SUV is the venerable G from the same era in front of all the new competition from the other MB's SUVs. And the A class and the B class should have been SMART than carrying the MB brand name.

Ah! the 1980s, W126 could sell as well today as the G class if it was kept and upgraded as well. It was designed so well it would still topple the W222 in terms of desirability just as G over GLS.
