One of my personal favorites! Especially the FL!

I disagree. Sure, the 205/213/222 may be a repeat of 201/124/126 in terms of design cues, but I honestly think the 213 will be very special. It's certainly the most proportional of the two. Looks a bit taller as well.

Trust me, being the huge E fan that I am, I will not mistake a 213 for a 205 ;)

No doubt mate but you and I are not like most of the public who won't be able to tell the difference between the C or E on first glance.

It looks like the E will get the single display instrument cluster and COMAND screen.
The S-Class will have to wait for the facelift.

WalkoART has posted a new video of the W213.

There doesn't appear to be anything new to see, but here it is anyway. :)

It's going to be a gorgeous car and then the sedan lineup will be completed. The bring on the E Coupe, Convertible and the CLS....the flashy members.

How are S-Class owners going to feel if the new E-class not only gets an exterior that looks so similar(and arguably better due to the smaller proportions) , but an interior that is just as good(when the right option boxes are ticked of course). Mercedes is becoming more like Audi in terms of family resemblance, which Audi is severely criticized for.

That stance though:smiliedan

Wonder do they mean a 4Matic version?

AMG boss Tobias Moers has promised that the next Mercedes-AMG E63 super-saloon will be “not an evolution but a pure revolution - the biggest step an AMG E-class has made”.
Speaking to Autocar at the Frankfurt motor show, Moers revealed that the performance E-class will be four-wheel-drive-only in all markets, but added, “Don’t worry - it will still do skids, drifts and all the stupid stuff we love.”

Any ideas what "revolution" could mean?

It's definitely not ERS, KERS, electric turbos, hybrid, EV:
However, he's quick to rule out (for now) the possibility of having ERS and KERS on any street-legal AMG models as that wouldn't make sense just yet.

Electrically driven turbos are also a no-no for the time being, even though rivals like Audi are heavily developing this technology.

During the same interview, he also denied any rumors of diesel or electrical AMG models in the foreseeable future, arguing there's just not enough demand to justify the high expenses.

(...) Mercedes-Benz’s head of R&D Thomas Weber. Speaking to the British publication Autocar, Weber confirmed that a hybridized AMG performance model could go on sale in the next five years.

I wonder what they mean with revolution. I always tend not to believe this kind of PR statements, but who knows.

A different bumper design is hardly a revolution in my book. But the change in the design for the front bumper is so needed. You cannot have the entire lineup with the same front bumper.
