I still don't understand why the C's release is so premature. They took forever to show us the S-class and now BOOM out of nowhere we have a new C-class.

^
Those were my thoughts exactly. 'Postponing' of the S Class burned me, and this comes 2-3 months before any rumors suggested, out of the blue?

Still... "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" :D

New Viano!

They waited for showing the W222 because they want it to be closer to the G11 7er and same case for this W205. They don't want it to be tjat far from the F30 release.

Sorry for the ignorance, but will most of the intelligent drive features on the W222 be carried forward to the W205? And will AGLITY CONTROL come as standard?

There is no reason not to. I guess MBC/V12 engines/other luxury specialties cannot be expected, but for the everything else - money is the limit:D

I'm also curious about the Agility Control, and other suspension enhancements.

WOW. I did definitely not expect this. Interior looks amazing! Looked like crap in previous spyshots lol, MB sure knows how to surprise. And also, steering wheel reminds me alot of the one seen in the spyshots of the S-Coupe.

Well, shit. That looks brilliant. Absolutely did not think it would, but spec-ed like that!? Damn. Looks properly futuristic. I like this direction.

Is that an Airmatic button? Might be optional? :)

As well as receiving radically different construction, the fourth-generation C-class also uses a newly developed chassis consisting of a new four link front and five-link rear suspension that is claimed to provide what Mercedes-Benz describes as “unsurpassed wheel location qualities”, “supreme straight line stability” and “outstanding NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) qualities”.

The new arrangement uses a greater number of aluminium components, saving 2kg in the front end alone. It will come with the choice of three states of tune: Comfort, Direct Control and Sport – the latter of which receives a 15mm reduction in ride height.

Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz has confirmed the new C-class will be offered an optional Airmatic air suspension in combination with selected engines, as reported by Autocar.

The new set-up allows the driver to choose between Comfort, ECO, Sport and Sport Plus modes to vary the firmness of the dampers. It also provides an automatic self-leveling feature that lowers the car at motorway speeds for improved aerodynamics and added fuel economy. Source: Autocar/Autoevolution

I doubt the AMG is going to have the column mounted shifter.
Either way, blown away with the look of the interior. Wow!!
The rev-counter isn't standard C-class for sure and the floor mats of this picture look to be from AMG :

If this isn't C63 AMG, it might be a C400 AMG to compete against the S4 ? (like the A250 by AMG)
