The free-standing display will still look cheap to those who do not like the integration. Quality itself seems to be very high indeed, however.

Or maybe they needed something to launch, since, at around the same time, the 2 Series teaser appeared.

Few things caught my attention:
1. The vents don't look like they "emerge" as much as they do in the spy pics.
2. The touch pad looks like it stands in the middle, while in the spy pics, it looks like its on the left side, closer to the driver. Could be the angle, of course.

The free floating screen would look much better of the borders were much thinner.

There will probably be different sizes, with the biggest and most expensive ones covering the whole area....the basic BMW screens look ugly too with big black plastic borders. I wouldn't worry about that just yet.

The car is looking better and better by the minute. This is going to be a really good car indeed, which is great news.

My thoughts exactly. One can see the buttons that are positioned around the gear lever, are positioned around the touch pad in the car with auto transmission.

Needless to mention that this will be one extremely successful car for Mercedes-Benz. Ooops-I said it !

Can't wait for the W213 E-Class. M-B appears to be on the verge of a massive market-capturing roll !
I would actually prefer the w213 e to be a baby s rather than the c class.

I would suspect that the upcoming W213 E-Class will differentiate itself a tad more from the W222 S-Class than is the case with the W205 C-Class. Especially with regard to the rear end. The current side sculpturing as seen on the A, S and now C series cars should be featured as it has become an M-B signature. I also speculate that the W213 E-Class will grow in size somewhat as compared to the W212, exceeding 4900mm in length and near, if not more than 1900mm in width. Its' CLS derivative should be quite spectacular.

Yeah the E has always stood apart. It will introduce something new as they've always done. Now that the A, CLA, C, GLA and S have the same design language the next E will move it forward a great deal more with new details.

Yep, I would expect the W213 to have the same profile than the S and C but with less slopping shoulder line. The rear with more horizontal lights, and the front end with more aggressive bumper and sportier front lights (inspired by the F800).

Do we know the day the C-Class is to be presented?

Now, if that teaser isn't promising I don't know what is!
I'm not sure if the interior will look good but it will surely be of ultra high quality compared to its competitors!
The front looks very promising too!
I can't fcuking wait!
