Very nice, this profile it is a next level S from design point of view...but i always like the front and side profile from the leaks...

clear there are differences , but the next s class headlamps looks newer and more tech inside

Actually it’s quite sad that they had to reveal the whole front so long before the release, those leaks from China ruined the whole surprise feeling that the car deserves. Mercedes made a very good job with this one regarding the camo and interior, up until the last moments when the whole car got leaked.... quite sad, even the face lifted E was revealed step by step...

The headlights look great with that 3 dot style

So , it will preserve the 1-2-3 line/dot style from the previous models

C class has 1 eyebrow , E class had 2 eyebrows , S class has 3 eyebrows

E facelift has 2 dots. S class has 3 dots . Future C class will probably have 1 dot

I liked it, infact it look way better than from the leaked pics. Front end felt like its sought, we more or less know about the side profile, wheels in this teaser also look good for me, now what left in exterior is how rear looks.

Just a corner point is not the parameter to judge an entire design. When it come to the development of a car, engineers select the best method of packaging which include the most cost effective joints. So even it followed it I don’t find it as a big mistake.

did I say that it was a judgement to the entire design?? I was only focusing on that corner and the shoulder line. They are very similar.
That point I was making was that the S classes of old including the W222 have a very elegant bumper to fender connection —— it’s straight until it kinks upward towards the headlight.

I hated this design feature on the BMWs and I don’t particularly like it now.

also the pointy end of the headlight is a copy from the ugly flame surfacing element on BMW headlights from the last 20 years. Not a fan!
