For me the W223 has by far the most attractive front end.

Wow, front end in that shot look 10 times better than the leaked one. I get the sens of luxury and elegance which best suits the S class. Front end looks like a proper S class and IMHO looks better than the front of the W222 at the moment of revealing plus that W222 looked better at front end before that facelift. I do like this alot to be honest with you guys.

Front looks pretty nice. I'll have to get used to the swollen grille, and I can't get over the cheap hood shutline.

For the rest it's completely inoffensive. Lacks the first impression wow factor of the W222, but the W222 design is extremely long in the tooth now with all it's copies, so I welcome the change.

Wow it looks much much better than I thought. The grill looks 3 dimensional and protrudes very powerfully ahead of the lights. Its a pity it doesn't have a thicker chrome surround in reminiscence to the older models. The front light look nice and thin and are also sleek and sharp edged. Lower chrome surround intake looks striking and blends in well with the grill and lower bonnet.

The front end is a clean design and cohesive, but the problem I have with it is that as Mercedes Benz moves towards a more narrow and horizontal approach to the headlights, it looks less like an S Class, less luxury and more sporty. The edge of the headlights is creeping towards BMW style, something I first noticed on the CLA.

Again, the design is clean and cohesive, it'll look fresher and better in some ways than the W222, but i don't think it'll epitomize "S Class" the way the W222 did.

I think what is killing it for me is the grille. That thin chrome looks cheaper than what MB did with the W222. The "nose" shape does not help neither. Can't believe I loved it back when the S-Coupe concept debuted in 2013.

Still missing that burst inside....W222 was beautiful in all leaks , IMO

But , maybe AMG pack/63/73 will be kind of wow...

It's a step backwards, at least in this non AMG look. This 3D grille gives a bloated look. But it won't matter. It will sell anyway.
