That seems designed in the Matrix, stereotype of house, car, clothes, and face, everything fits, and I don't like any

@those who disagree that the rims on the touareg and the w223 are very similar: look carefully at those spokes and their design, how are angled as they go from the edge to the center of the wheel... yes, the spokes on the merc are smaller and there are more of them, but the overall design is a blatant rip-off of vw's design(or whoever designed them first, I could bet real money it's not mercedes)

I was gonna say the sample rims we have seen remind me of a...

Fussy multispoke wheels are definitely in right now. PHYBENZ's comment is much more acceptable from my point of view- VW/Audi definitely have a variety of wheels with a similar style.

Sorry for derailing the thread, but what happens in case of...

It’s not the exterior that’s going to be a potential dealbreaker. It’s the interior that worries me.
Judging on what we’ve seen so far; the use of glossy, black plastic, the vertical center touch screen, the horizontal, somehow lost, screen in front of the driver and that black hole in front of the windscreen... doesn’t sound reassuring to me.

Like the wheels; looks solid and expensive. Grille is a bit massive for my liking, but it has the potential to change my mind when seen in person, a la 7er LCI. While I like the air dam, I am still not crazy about the new headlight shape for M-B's sedans. Like any S sedan reveal, this is still very much anticipated.

It's S class... For sure it will have multiple trim...
Some aspects I mentioned, Kiki, will not look any better with the finest of trim, like the large touchscreen, the horizontal IPad-like screen mounted on the steeringwheel column and the glossy plastic in some parts of the interior.

Aside from that, as much as I LOVE the facelifted W222 (boy that fascia is so majestic and aristocratic, same spirit as the W126), I like very much this new generation W223, they had the courage to steer the S Class in a somehow different direction and that is something I can applaud.

I am still not a big fan of touchscreens but they probably did what the customers wanted. Time will pass and people will like it (perhaps even me) or not. But the overall dashboard and door panel design appeals to me, it is a fresh new start. I can only hope they chose well the materials.

Regards to all, Stephane

Apologies if this has been posted before. I'm doubting myself now whether or not these images are real or not. Was under the impression they were, hence me posting them here. @mods please remove if necessary

Those trolls ruined the thread and now I don't know WTF is on topic or off topic. Is this off topic? Sorry if it is.
