The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013.

It seems some elements were taken from the GT63s, the headlights and how they cut into the grill giving a somewhat serious sporty look. The protruding grill also plays a role.

That's why I thought this car was born to be or sacrificed to be an AMG...That converted panamericana grille would much more comfortably work with the pointy headlights.
 
I think the front of the W223 looks better than the W222 in the comparison pictures. Will have to wait and see the entire car. Hopefully soon

Especially when comparing the front of the non-AMG versions of W222 and W223 (a few posts above), the W222 looks a bit bare.
 
I like both grils
The 213 more edgy and sporty, the 223 more aristocratic

I would say that when you look at the W213 MOPF you can feel that it was originally designed differently and that the front was only added afterwards as part of the model update. The W223, on the other hand, looks stretched, more elegant, you can tell that it was planned like this from the start of the development.
 
Such an beautiful and modern looking car...side by side the 222 seems old, Headlights also...those 3 stripes look too busy for me, these dots and 1 stripe seems more modern and simple
