I think it’ll be more similar or rather sleeker of A sedan tail light in shape

I agree. The A-class sedan and E-class facelift have already shown the direction.

Sorry, but no. The W222 isn't so far ahead of its cumpetitors that Mercedes can just give it another update. You may think this product cadence is too much, and perhaps it could be considered so in isolation, but BMW and Audi sure aren't asleep behind the wheel.

Yikes, I really need to proofread my posts better.

Hi Serpens, how is the render above as compared to the rea...

Still haven't seen the rear or interior so can't comment. I was supposed to video chat with my MB contact and look at some pics this week but I'm trying to keep my speech to a minimum so I canceled. Having COVID-19 largely hasn't been bad for me but I did develop a nasty cough.

@275others i see you didn't understand. mine was an example and then didn't you notice that it could also be installed on the new s class? Maybe more sophisticated. Nobody in the forum had noticed the similarity

I have this feeling that the next S class could have a huge heads up display on the windscreen that will replace the usual instrument panel and that the instrument screens shown in the mules is fake. Their instrument screens do seem to be surrounded by ugly fake looking hard plastic/fabric. I could be totally wrong but this is my funny hunch.

I thought it was fairly clear that there is a lot of fake cladding around the instrument cluster in front of the driver. It looks obvious to me that this screen will be upright and with a deep recess behind which will likely have a wraparound screen of some sort, or ambient lights, or both.

While I think HUD will play a bigger role than in previous generations, the screen behind the steering wheel and the touch screen between the center console are not going anywhere. It'd be borderline reckless to be wholly dependent on a projection on the windshield in case something happens to either the projector or windshield or if conditions provide for less than optimal visualizations.
