M3/M4 [Spy Shots] BMW F32 M4 Spied

The BMW M3 is a high-performance version of the BMW 3 Series, developed by BMW's in-house motorsport division, BMW M GmbH. M3 models have been produced for every generation of 3 Series since the E30 M3 was introduced in 1986. The BMW M4 is a high-performance version of the BMW 4 Series automobile developed by BMW's motorsport division, BMW M, that has been built since 2014. As part of the renumbering that splits the coupé and convertible variants of the 3 Series into the 4 Series, the M4 replaced those variants of the BMW M3. Official website: BMW M
They are camouflage . Existing mirror shell from the M5 and M6 covering the true mirror shape which is a sort of evolution of the current car, there is some photos that show this as evidence.

Car is going to look amazing, but the drive is what I'm worried about. Come on BMW, don't disappoint. I don't want to jump ship.

On a good day. An M3 will match a 911 lap for lap?

If this continues to be true, this is how I will judge this 4 series. It exists as a homologation (sic) of the M3/M4 that is to come and preserve that legacy. It looks like M department was involved early in the development of this product. If the fully developed M4 can still match the glorious 991 that everyone's been raving about then. I'm happy with the styling compromises.

N-Ring time of F8X is under 7:50 min (not to say under 7:40 min as some keep telling). 0-100 km/h is under 4 sec, that tells about traction. So yes, depending on track, F8X could be faster than 911 Carrera S.

Then Stuttgart should be proud. Second generation they will clean up that god-awful front overhang on the M spec.

I am still not smitten with the 4er as far as looks go. And at the risk of getting lambasted by the BMW rank and file, I see a little infiniti in that blue photo shop above. Hopefully it looks better IRL but for now, I much prefer the 2er.

I'd be very pleasently surprised if SportAuto posts a time sub 7:50 because the last one already did a sterling job on the N-ring. Though posting a sub 4 second 0-60mph by an American mag I think is very possible.

Ups sorry guys, I thought I was on the 2er thread. Of course this is a hardtop.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
