New C-class is looking good so far, I like that brilliant blue colour. The side panels are quite smooth with not many noticeable character lines, but at least has some curves and shape.

C-CLASS WORLD PREMIERE ON FEBRUARY 23, 2021 - SALES RELEASE AT THE END OF MARCH

In a few days, Mercedes-Benz will pull off the new C-Class generation of the 206 series. The new generation will be presented as a sedan and at the same time as a T-model on February 23, 2021. At the end of March, the order approval for the first engines will start.

World premiere on 02/23/2021 for sedan and T-model!

After its world premiere on February 23, 201, the new C-Class from Mercedes-Benz will be available as the C 200 d and C 220 d (4MATIC) as well as the C 200 (4MATIC) and C 350 (4-cylinder M 254 with ISG), while we can expect further motorization and sales release streaks in summer and autumn. The C 300 de and the C 300 e will probably not follow until the end of 2021. The new plug-in hybrids of the C-Class will then achieve an electric range of around 100 km according to WLTP.

C 43 and C 63 e 4MATIC + from Affalterbach

We currently expect the C 43 (M 254) from AMG as early as the summer of 2021, while the C 63 e 4MATIC + model (M 139 with rear axle drive including e-motor support) as the largest engine from the Affalterbach company will be available in 2022 at the earliest.

Three equipment lines - Powerdomes on the hood

All engines in the new C-Class have two “power domes” on the bonnet, regardless of the equipment line. There is a choice of two grills and three equipment lines as well as the optional “Digital Light System” known from the S-Class.

New options are also to be expected in the area of the chassis, even if Airmatic could be omitted. The “flush door handles” of the S-Class will have to be dispensed with in the C-Class. On the other hand, numerous assistance systems will be taken directly from the S-Class, even if we do not expect an identical status with regard to the autonomous driving levels of the S-Class.

I am expecting something between the c200 and c350.

Looks really superb in the latest pics. Almost undisguised and a smooth body, without any real character lines except above the door handles.

I would say it looks quite plain and boring. And the interior seems to have all the ingredients to look cheap and empty.

Making the C-Class a mini S-Class is a strategy that entails big risks. The priority of MB is always the S-Class, which makes sense, so they tend to nail the S-Class design. The problem is translating that design to the smaller C-Class is not always successful.

We'll have to wait and see what the final model looks like.

for now we have to settle for the latest spy photos waiting for February 23. I personally would have changed the air vents and I would not have made them round like the previous version, so much for a change

Then everyone would be like - “oh it’s like a small copy of the S class interior”....

I wonder that there are people who actually say it now given the differences, but whatever

Right, preserve the 3 central vent idea but make them squircles instead of circles and it'll much better flow with the huge square screen beneath.

I agree, Merc is going very minimalist with their new designs versus uber Baroque with the current generation. The minimalist Tesla look works in a S-Class with its very high material quality. Merc will have to translate that over to the C-Class to pull it off. Hopefully we're not stuck with a Model 3 copy cat. I am not a fan...

The C will have to be much cheaper inside and combine that with the all sewing machine engine lineup, it's shaping up to be a terrible car. This C, the SL, EQS are all looking hugely undesirable right now. Mercedes will be on the decline if all three of these turn out the way they appear now.

Looks so much like the current one! I think it should be a winner as the current C still looks good. The body is just a bit taughter now along with the new front and rear end.
