Maybe enough customers pay for the current models to justify their choice for the design language?

I think its similar to their other designs which bodes well for their brand. They need to establish a design identity which they have. All their cars look great in IMHO. And let be honest here, Porsche as been milking the same exact design for 60 years and its not particularly striking in any way.
