Eni, what are the two parallel lines on the D-pillar where the BMW kink is supposed to go. Is that part of some design? I see it on both sides.

It's a camo. Those creases / bulges are incidental.

Small 3rd side window with Hofmeister kink is there behind the camo.

The people who saw the car unmasked IRL say it looks very aggressive, very X5-ish, and very fastback-ish due to very short boot lid deck.

Words used for describing the X6 appearence were "distinctive" & "unique".

More: spy pics do not show the car proportions & size well. Due to coupeish shape the car looks shorter & more compact than it really is. IRL the car is huge yet sleek, and has a lot of presence!

I find it boring....... I loved the E60 when it came out cause it dared to be different and boldly so.... This one doesn't know what it wants to be...just plain vanilla with a sloping back..

More or less ...

Let's say it's 98% correct.

Not 100% correct: lower character crease, rear wing shoulder line, 3rd side window with H's kink, black parts on bumpers & wheel arches, tail lights.

Small details, yet quite important.

Also: the car should be seen IRL to see its dimensions & proportions right. While portrayed solo the proportions & dimensions are not seen very well. I hope BMW will include some by-standing people in official PR pics: to show the proportions & dimensions better.

Interesting Martin. I'm quite the opposite; I think this will be one my favourite BMW's of the modern era.

It is rumored X6 Concept will be premiered in Frankfurt: perhaps even with hybrid tech.

Nothing confirmed.

But do not forget Reithofer's words that BMW will present one-or-two surprises at IAA, to showcase latest developments in BMW.

Rumored: M6 CSL, X6 Hybrid Concept, CS Concept.
