BMW M2 photographed prior to October 14 debut
Will sport a 3.0-liter turbo engine
A slightly camouflaged example of the BMW M2 has been spied parked somewhere in Germany.
BMW is putting the final touches on the hottest 2-Series – the M2, and will be ready for an online debut on October 14. The vehicle was spotted during tests in Germany once again and this is probably the best look at the car so far.
As before, the car comes with a quad exhaust system, a new front bumper with large air intakes and vented fenders. There’s also a subtle trunk spoiler, as well as a set of black five twin-spoke alloy wheels. This is the first time a test prototype of the M2 in Long Beach Blue body color is being caught on camera.
We already know almost all of the details around the high-performance coupe and it’s going to have a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine with 370 PS (272 kW) and a peak torque of 465 Nm (500 Nm with overboost). 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) run will be performed in less than 4.5 seconds, while the top speed will be electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).

The 1M had one of the most imposing stance of any car of its time. This seems slightly tame in comparison. Will have to warm up to to the fangs though. Not sold on them just yet,will probably still my favorite M ride.
If those are the final wing mirrors then they're not even different to the standard car.
