I have to say I WAS WRONG!!! I'm very surprised that the M2 doesn't have adaptive dampers - it was standard on the M235i for the US - and shocked by the fact that there wasn't the slightest weight evolution from the 1M. So, as I've also mentioned before, nothing to write home about for a previous 1M owner:
