The rear light graphics are resembling the F10 and G05 (specifically the Life Cycle Impulse model) at the same time.

These rear lights look generic. Instead of making them linear, they have that weird kink that tries to make them vaguely L-shaped. They way they wrap around the side profile is not the nicest one neither.
This! It seems like they only have that kink for the sake of having an L-Shape.. instead of doing a properly integrated L-Shape.

Nobody sees the big picture?
The rear is clean and modern, quite resembling the 7 including the tail lights, even more so in white, the floor moved and I love what can come

Have you guys seen the FL camry?

Jokes aside quite disappointing, i mean how can this car look so good with camo on, then one basic leak like this reveal so many turn offs? Hmm… lets hope the front works.

Exactly.
What are all those ‘things’ I see that partly disguise the view on the rear? I don’t know, but it looks phoney to me.
Just looks like protections for shipping/transport, like the tape on the B Pillar pieces.

In my previous comments, I said that the new 5 series will look better than the 7 series. The best view of this car will be from the rear. The side view will not be fluid, the front will look like the X1. The new E-class is perfectly proportioned in side view. The 5 series will have a raised body to make room for batteries. Because of this, the tires will look a little small and disproportionate. The 7 series also has this problem. The front hood will appear too high, but the rear will not look as disproportionate as the 7 series thanks to the thicker lighting unit.

Yup.. that's the unfortunate situation with having the "compromise" platform support both EV and ICE.

Though, I think the 7 Series proportionally wears it better, since it has more length to spread out that visual height, if that makes sense.

And I definitely agree about the front hood appearing high, already in the spy shots it looks high.

I am happy with those tail lights. They are a bolder debut than the G30 pre-LCI lights that made the car mistakable for a F10.
