Were you ever given a chance to submit feedback on the new S ? Because it’s my understanding that the upcoming large overhaul of the S interior is based on customer feedback.I really dislike the mounted driver’s screen, the vertical touchscreen and those black, shiny plastic door elements that hold the seat adjustment, seat heating/cooling and door opener.
Just can’t get used to it.
No, never. Not once during my ownership of 4 consecutive S classes. Were you ever given a chance to submit feedback on the new S ? Because it’s my understanding that the upcoming large overhaul of the S interior is based on customer feedback.
I just hope they’re not going to wedge the same hyperscreen into the S - but rather give it a newer better version.
Oha, you are presenting an even worse interior to these extremely ugly EQs. That's not so easy.Mick those are also my pet peeves about the interiors of all latest gen Mercedes models.
The drivers instrument screen is mounted in a very unsophisticated way and looks like an afterthought. At least they could have done a screen that looks better integrated with the dash, such as the Ford Mach E driver's screen.
Also the door handles surrounding trim in black shiny piano plastic and the same for the center console looks so damn cheap.

Would love to know who they ask! Probably their instagram influencers.....Were you ever given a chance to submit feedback on the new S ? Because it’s my understanding that the upcoming large overhaul of the S interior is based on customer feedback.

That's the greatest praise for the eqe that I have come across anywhere.Yesterday i saw and sat for the first time in the EQE. Wow, the car is perfect! It looks 10x hoter then on the pictures! On the pictures it looks high and fat, but in reality it looks sleek, sporty, like a coupe. Also interior crazy, you feel like you are in a stealth fighter. Also this color fits the car ver well, specially with this AMG package and 21” rims. Wow. I’m really positive surprised. I think i want one.
I havent driven it, but after i drove the EQS, i can easily say: you dont need the EQS. The EQE is more then enough big.

EQE looks much better in the AMG 43 model because of the lowered stance and wider tyres. The 350 looks tall and narrow even with the AMG line package.
In the only comparative test that was posted here, the "cliche" calmly beat the EQE despite being from a lower segmentnext to this car, the bmw i4 remains a cliché
It is not necessary that to speak well of the EQE, you must discredit the i4, you know very well that what you say about the materials is completely false since the high interior quality of the i4 and all the latest BMWs (especially this one) is well known and that if it was compared to the EQE and that it won despite everything you say. Also a all black version looks very cool.
p.s. you cant compare the i4 with the EQE, this would be ridiculous. The i4 is on a plattform of the 3er, the EQE is E-Class level. Also the i4 has a ICE design, so it has much less space in the cabin. I even dont want to mention how worse the i4 is build, the materials feel really cheap in that bimmer, would never buy it.

If you like EQE it's fine, but can you avoid trolling for trolling sake?
Somebody around my block has an EQE. Quite ugly car (not BMW terrible level, but still) and terribly proportioned. Yesterday it was parked next to a BMW 1er sedan (fwd) and looked even worse.
I can't understand how both BMW and Merc fans can sugar-coat their respective turds, and mock about the rival turd. German car design has reached deep bottom.
Of course, but you are giving your opinion as a fact, and the fact that has been amply demonstrated here and everywhere is that the solidity, build quality, materials and finishes of the i4 and BMW in general is ultimately better than that of Audi and Mercedes, especially the EQs have been quite criticized by everyone in that aspect and obviously complaining for the shake of........ since they must also be very good, but again if you compare them with your own "standard" the S Class, and it is when they are most evident.I hope its permitted to write down his own opinion and critics to a car at this forum.
No, we don't have, the fact that you've driven S-Classes doesn't make you know what quality is any more than I do, that's a big mistake on your part, it's as if Checo Perez said that all cars are slow because he drives an F1, both would be wrong, since the world is a generality, not your universe.we both have different standards for build quality and materials. I drive almost my whole life only S-Classes, so i think i can say i know what the benchmark is.
Exactly that's just what it is, but if you mention it disparagingly it sounds bad, like saying the EQE is an ugly bad adaptation of what an E-Class EV should be.the i4 is not a bad car, but its not much more then an electrified 3er with a little more legspace in te rear,
