That's a 4er Render done using the current M4. All relevant design areas from G22 do not even match with that Render.

We pretty much know how the M4 is going to look at this point. The entire front bumper has been leaked and there is already an accurate render going around.

There's going to be large amounts of toys ejected at high velocity, at near perfect ballistic trajectories, from many a pram when the 4-er hits... if people can't get behind the grille, or maybe the rear haunches/Hoffmeister Kink, then appealing to their chosen deity - before proclaiming their deeply personal (and subjective opinion), will become the norm -- it's just such a Clarkson way of talking! I'm already looking forward to it! "Dear god, it's the ugliest car... in the wuuurrrrlllld"...

I'm sure that most BMW fans will like the 4er (MB fans won't, but BMW couldn't care less), but I'm not that convinced for the M4

I don't share your faith! I reckon there'll be a great many complaints from BMW fans, and a huge proclamation that they're all going to buy a 911 instead of an M4.

However, this isn't new ... it is long runner in every bimmer forum, that "pissed fans" regularly threaten (I don't know whom - BMW?) to leave the family and go to the Porsche camp ... the majority you still see years later presenting their new bimmer toy ... rewind, repeat.

Yeah, 4 series looks good to me. I’m just not really sure why they decided to separate the grille and make it even bigger for the M3/4.

These folks will also mention how BMW lost it and the F3X is the last great thing ever, which was the worst thing ever when it debuted, according to them...

I'm becoming neutral to liking or hating how the new 4er (or cars in general) will look (which could be dangerous to the car enthusiast in me), so what I care about more is if it'll be a good GT3 platform (I hope it'll be a good one...)

I 100% agree. But this dude is going mental about something that is fake and wanting to know from BMW what were they thinking about something that we haven't even seen yet.

It's ridiculous. At least wait till you've seen the real thing or criticise the render.

I love THIS one. It's getting me all excited that BMW has found it's way back onto the "Mojo Path". And leaves me hoping that the successors to the G11/12 7 series and G30/31 5 series will look at least equally stellar.

Yes and they incorporated the hood line.
Many renders showing in publications currently have applied realistic elements but kept the details of the concept. Especially when we know that the production car will be significantly different.

Despite the camouflage. Key details can now be seen without false panels hiding them.
Here however is something new and that is the wheels for the M440i Convertible here seen in public for the first time.
Which reveal a less complex production variant of the design introduced with the Coupe Concept.

This is going to be one striking car on the road.

This looks aggressive and stylish. The M4 grill is the one to worry about.
