Why does the compartment on the transmission tunnel utilitarian? It makes me think that it’s a place for storing sugar cubes for tea.

Cost cutting frenzy. The cup holders in Mark III look even cheaper than they already did in the pre-facelift. All that for € 100.000 + as starting price …

Actually cup holders of G2 have a cool closing mechanism but the open style on the G3 is lazy design. Seeing them open all the time would annoy me. I also feel there's some cost cutting here and there which is disappointing in a flagship car from Porsche.
The worst thing I think is the black plastic on the doors, at the moment its not customizable.

Nice colour. But a stupid PHEV that weighs 2.435 (EU) kg, alas. I’ll pass. Than I’d rather take a real heavy sedan like the S 63. To me it’s 2.595 kg are fitting this modern day battleship Bismarck.

I know right? These types of kerbweights whilst seemingly the "norm" are shockingly high.

The full on EV'S are less than this from memory, the two American marques. So is it the best of both worlds or the worst of both worlds? Interesting.

Fun fact , this car is heavier than the original Touareg , and that car was considered a Bismarck at it's time

Worse fact , this car is over 200kg more than Tesla S Plaid , a car that is considered heavy

Can't wait to see some track numbers

Taycan looks "weird" but in a good way and its unique on the street

Twice I've been queuing to board the Channel Tunnel train and overheard people discussing my Taycan and what it actually was, and on both occassions they thought it was a "Ferrari", which is both shocking and nice at the same time.

Interior room hasn’t changed, so it’s still the choice if you want a roomy large hatchback.

As someone who had a Mk.2 Turbo for 5 years, Im very disappointed in the cost cutting they’ve done to the new facelift.

Damn, open cup-holders, new seat pockets are a plastic net and the rear AC vents look straight from Skoda?! Wtf is going on at Porsche, they ask more money for what?
And there's more cost cutting, piano black instead of carbon on doors, cheaper speaker grills like in Taycan, cheaper gear selector, cheaper door hinges, and more...

This is the 2016 ^ wow, that new one you posted does look significantly cheaper. But unfortunately, the Cayenne has also faced cost-cutting in the recent facelift, I wouldn't be surprised if the 992.2 suffers the same fate!

Actually never mind.. looks like these were the base climate control on the Panamera also.
