Panamera Third Generation Porsche Panamera 2024

The Porsche Panamera is a mid to full-sized luxury car (E-segment or F-segment for LWB in Europe) manufactured and marketed by Porsche. The Panamera name, as with the Carrera name, is derived from the Carrera Panamericana race.

Is this a new car or an extensive facelift?

M

Since the Taycan was launched it killed the Panamera sales so its an extensive facelift most likely.

I don’t understand why they make the panny so much more luxurious than the Cayenne? The fit and finish on the panny is way superior to the cayenne imo

It is truely the best built Porsche right now. That and the outgoing 718 are vaults. Not that the rest of the line up is bad , but those are top notch.

The 911 needs massive amounts of work in the interior. Porsche must be minting money off them given the price point and cheap interior.
Will most likely be fixed in .2. And to call it cheap is a stretch. Everything is relative though.

I don't find the futuristic part, nor the style part.

So what do you find, looks great to these eyes?
Straight layout, a T with the console, without any special attraction, a straight screen along its entire length, I could draw it.

I think it looks clean and modern. Sometimes the KISS (Keep-It-Simple-Stupid) engineering principal works best. A lot of other new and contemporary interiors look like the designers were just trying too hard. Just my $.02 though.

Because Panamera is the flagship like S class and 7 series, the SUV's are a class below. Take a look at GLS, X7, their interior don't have same fit and finish as the luxury sedans.

No it actually is. I have the Crayon GTS package and there are still very questionable plastics all around (transmission tunnel, door handles, speaker covers etc). My M4 felt more special. But the way it drives makes me forgive it.

I have a rattle coming from my driver display, a rattle coming from the drivers door area and the backrest of my drivers seat is creaking. Booked in next week to have these issues rectified.

Mum's Macan feels more premium and better built. Solid as a brick shithouse.

The new interior looks cheap compared to the current one. The huge air vent holes in the center instead of the closed ones on the current panamera? No cup holder lids? Even more piano black? The same steering wheel that is rather cheaply made?
