Panamera Third Generation Porsche Panamera 2024

The Porsche Panamera is a mid to full-sized luxury car (E-segment or F-segment for LWB in Europe) manufactured and marketed by Porsche. The Panamera name, as with the Carrera name, is derived from the Carrera Panamericana race.

You can’t see it, go and sit in one. It’s more plush , softer surfaces and leather.
But don’t get me wrong , specced right the taycan interior is wonderful and also suits the car. A panamera type interior wouldn’t fit it.
And me personally like the more luxurious panamera.
The Panamera interior is also palpably more solidly screwed together.

Is it just me or the new Panamera looks like a Taycan?

Have Porsche designers renovated the rear-haunch/wheel-arch/C-pillar sheetmetal ? And will we get flush doorhandles on the production cars ?

Are you thinking Taycan only iterations take over for the sedan segment for Porsche? Could be, they sell a lot of SUV's, in the states anyway.
I can envision Porsche giving the Panamera a 2nd facelift to extend it's life another 3 years like they have done with the Macan.

The market for an ICE executive saloon will unlikely grow as the Tycan is cheaper to own than a 1.6TDI golf if you drive it as a company car.

But they already have a new PPE electric platform ready, why not build on that together with the Macan. Adding some hp and more electric range on the hybrids won't make a difference in sales, everyone will buy the Macan EV or the Taycan.
I hope Porsche will put more effort into this Panamera.

Agreed. I don't think the electric only range of hybrids will triple in next 2-3 years.

We are also nearing a point where BEVs are cheaper to buy than PHEV whether you are buying privately or through a business.

Unless you travel very long distances or don't have access to charging, a hybrid panamera will soon only make sense to a very few over a Tycan or Macan EV.
