How many of them have tried the new M5?
and majority of those disappointments probably are beacuse the highreeving N/a engine is gone. But I can understand them since I was also hoping for around 580 hp but I guess I have to wait for the performance package to see those numbers.

One thing for sure, M5 F10 sounds so much worse than M5 E60.

It´s not about trying the car. BMW enthusiasts were expecting osmething astonishing. The E39 M5 was the first sports saloon to have 400 PS, and the E60 M5 the first one with more than 500 PS. People were expecting 600 PS, or almost 600 PS for this new F10 M5. And 560, just 5 more than the M SUVs, is less than the expected.

Having said that, I think is the nicest and coolest M5 ever, but the aesthetics have totally eclipsed the mechanics IMO. I´m not impressed by any of the numbers of the new M5.

Fuel consumption at mixed driving under 1 liter does impress me though. I think Performance package going to change the impression later on.

The visualizer is bit basic.. not many color options there.

Singapore Grey is there but its bit dark. I was waiting to see how it looks like because its a new color bit dark grey.

Yep, but you read this forum, where we look at the fuel consumption too, and so on. But some people just want a big round number. Like the 400 or the 500 PS of the previous M5s.

In my book, nothing to worry about. Just look at the Panny Turbo. Less powerful than the lighter rival and with better handling and performance.

Looks bland in that silver..The blue makes it look more like a M the silver looks like a normal 5.

What is amazing about this engine is literally the lack of any plumbing for a bi-turbo engine.

EMpower; yes, until there comes a special edition M5 with less weight and more power. It's inevitable.

Not really, the only thing really missing from that pic is the intercooler which also doubles as the "plumbing".

You should begin to see some pictures next week as BMW launch the M5 @ the M festival from Thursday.
The M5 will also be shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.

Little Trivia fact - The BMW M5 and The Mercedes-Benz C-Klasse Coupe were shot at the same airfield in South Africa. But not at the same time.
