Exactly. It has a timeless design, just looks gorgeous. Especially my mom, she freaking adores her 2015 525 xDrive lol. Besides the few reliability issues we had, it was a wonderful car for us. Handles great, acceleration is pretty good too, overall interior space and quality is lovely, and it just looks great. What’s not to love, right?

I think the looks are nice, but for the rest it's the worst 5er of them all in terms of actual car and driving it IMO. Also the M5, has got to be the worst and most boring M5 ever (I drove it several times in Germany on the Autobahn and was impressed by the power, but not by anything else)
Maybe the E60 was just too good.

Oh, what a surprise, the interior quality is amazing, much better than its competitors and with an example given by him very clear, it says that the car looks very good and is an excellent car with all the BMW DNA, and to think that I believed everything what I read in GCF!

I am starting to go through some reviews and it seems one of the main concerns is range. The car seems stellar on every other account.

Maybe the best choice would be going for the 530e and waiting 3-4 years for an updated i5 with extended range.

Haven't driven the current 5er, so I can't tell whether if it drives better than the F10 or not. But overall I'm extremely happy with our 8 year old boy

Here in Turkey, there are already tons of new 520d's waiting for their owners to pick them up. Seems like it's gonna sell quite well, despite the hideous price. I wonder how the new E Class will do compared to the 5er. I guess the deliveries of those haven't started yet.

So many customer cars already. Fun fact here in Turkey the starting price for the 520d is ₺5.1M Liras without any options, that equals to €180k. While the i5 M60 costs around €200k. Crazy times. Blame the inflation and our poorly managed economic system.

I wish the Hofmeister was more pronounced like in the G30, but I'd be lying if I told that I didn't like the black one with M-sport package. Too bad it doesn't have a proper engine to do any justice to the sporty design. As for prices, I can't really comment on that.

Their designs were very striking but ahead of its time and a huge milestone for the whole industry.
Without BMW and Bangle we wouldn’t have such confident designs from other car makers nowadays. I think it still influences even 20 years after even some1’s love it or hate it.

Current BMW designs are not inspiring, the opposite BMW is now following trends as they are missing a vision which was the main factor in Bangles Era.

I have hope in Neue Klasse, but herefor Van Hooydonk has to retire.
