The rear 3/4 reminds me of the GL class; It's not ugly; but if you take the badge off and substitute the grill; no one could tell if its a BMW... way to go incognito BMW!!

Ok I was been a bit harsh in comparing the semi ugly AT/GT models to this champion of car ugliness, but I guess the GT is not exactly a nice looking BMW, it looks too much like other cars in this class (KIA comes to my mind) and the extended roof compared to the AT somehow reminded me of that aircraft landing roof of that Ssangyong!!

With the new BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer, BMW has carved out yet another new vehicle segment.

they specifically said they have created another new vehicle segement.
