Model 3 [Official] Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 is a battery electric powered mid-size sedan with a fastback body style built by Tesla, Inc., introduced in 2017. The vehicle is marketed as being more affordable to more people than previous models made by Tesla. The Model 3 was the world's top-selling plug-in electric car for three years, from 2018 to 2020, before the Tesla Model Y, a crossover SUV based on the Model 3 chassis, took the top spot. In June 2021, the Model 3 became the first electric car to pass global sales of 1 million.
I think fake shifting in an EV is one of the stupidest ideas in the car world.

In my own experience, one of the delights of an EV is the seamless and instantaneous power delivery everywhere, Why the heck would you want to break that up artificially?

If you enjoy shifting, as I do, get a proper manual ICE car that needs shifting to be driven properly.

Just my 2 shifts.

What Koenigsegg is doing is the future imo. Toyota is working on something completely artificial too, and Pagani has something going I believe with the Utopia.

Really like it a lot. If this is the way to keep manual feelings so be it.
You almsot make it sound like it's easy to get a PROPER manual ICE these days. It's near on impossible except if you want a BMW or Porsche.

Or a Toyota or a Honda or a Ford and I am sure there are more. Or ofcourse the vast used car market. :)

I think we had this discussion before, so no point rehashing it. But my offer stands, if you think fake manual transmission in EVs will be a thing, happy to wager a donation to a charity of our choice.

Look at me quoting misleading into something that you never said, but maybe I can make it look like you said it

Want to see the epitome of uselessness?

Reacting to a useless post.

Did I say ANYWHERE that Tesla is "the most demanded thing ever" ?

NO

Did I say ANYWHERE that Tesla has lowered price but the demand is huge ?

NO

Did you quote me because it made it sound like I said it?

YES

Pathetic....

It will be a thing as it already is now. Multi billion Dollar companies are creating them.
I'll IM you my bank account. I guess I am the charity myself this time.

Pathetic....

You made an unambiguous statement with no caveat or context regarding the sales price of vehicles, I simply applied what you said, to something you said about the sales price of vehicles, and nothing I quoted was edited.

You had to edit my entire reply to make your point.

Musk stans.

WHAT more precisely?

Please quote also the sencence where I SAID that DEMAND FOR TESLA IS BIG/HUGE/whatever

What got you thinking that, besides acting like you work for BBC

I think this version of the Performance will get more things to it , rather than just power and some infotainment extra menus.

Cars shot under cameo suggest that they might have some optical differences on the exterior also.

Maybe Tesla looked at what competition is doing with the Performance version of their cars , and see that people might want that

The parking system is still such a mess. Even with the latest HW4 , looks even worse.

After looking at this clip , it looks worse than my mother's 3 model ( first gen Tesla Vision ) . So jittery

You just have to love the media outlets this days.

And butt-hurt Toyota , and it's piece of crap Mirai , how pathetic they can be with this...

What is the difference between Hybrid and full EV? Adding parts to make it MORE prone to failure , MORE future-proof repairs program, and so on.

All industry is down right now. EVs are the future.

"We’re transitioning to a brand new technology. It’s expensive. " . How it's expensive to put an electric motor + a battery , more expensive than making a 2.0 hybrid 8 speed twin turbo blabla with thousands of parts?

Nobody wants EVs because EVs are cheap to make/cheap to repair/few parts involved/few to no service required.

And I am not speaking "from the internet". I daily drive an EV for the last 2 years right now, and I would never EVER go back to an ICE car. Never had an issue. Never serviced it. No brake pads change. No oil change. On the other hand , the last ICE car that I had , the last service that it had costed me around 10k ( timing belt change ) . Of course that no major car manufacturer wants EV...How will they survive with no after service...

The media love poking sticks at Elon. Yes, EV sales have entered a challenging phase. However Tesla is positioned to out perform as the facelift Model 3 is kicking ass in reviews and is extremely well priced.

Q4 should be interesting to see.

Should be a mark for EVs if Tesla manages to sale this like hot cakes

Those new Performance seats already come with wrinkles on the right side! That's within spec according to Tesla!
You know what's funny? I was just looking at Rich Rebuilds last video , and he bought a 720s. And before that , I saw plenty of other clips. And saw the same thing on forums :

McLaren are 1000% worse than any Tesla , YET , everybody loves them....I mean , like , 1 out of 4 have MAJOR issues. And I follow and watch lots of car YouTubers or IG car dudes that own McLarens. All love them , but also all complain about quality.

Branding , pricing , can't be sure . But it is some sort of hypocrisy , because the number one complaint regarding Teslas is build quality.

McLarens are something like a very good looking prostitute. You know what it is . You know that you won't have a long relation ship with it. You know it will leave you when you would not want to. But still , you like it....
