Model 3 [Official] Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 is a battery electric powered mid-size sedan with a fastback body style built by Tesla, Inc., introduced in 2017. The vehicle is marketed as being more affordable to more people than previous models made by Tesla. The Model 3 was the world's top-selling plug-in electric car for three years, from 2018 to 2020, before the Tesla Model Y, a crossover SUV based on the Model 3 chassis, took the top spot. In June 2021, the Model 3 became the first electric car to pass global sales of 1 million.
It's both an upgrade and a downgrade exterior and interior wise.
Here are the downgrades I noticed:
No fog lights
No air curtains (which makes me think current Model 3 is more slippery and Tesla is bullishiting with that claim.)
No rear climate zone controls?
No stalks
No wood
1 less USB port in the front

Things added/upgrades:
Ventilated seats
Less bezzels on the screen
Rear screen
More softer materials?
Change in rear seat position
Ambient lighting
New way storage opens
New design overall
New wheels (terrible design compared to old ones)
2 new colors
Supposedly longer range with the same motors and batteries
More controls in A/C
More speakers
Same price as before
Forgot to add lower top speed under the downgrades and same performance numbers as before.
Top speed was 233 km/h for LR, now it is 201 km/h for both the LR and SR.

Now I wonder what they do with Performance version...

I like the solution on the rear, integrating the tail lights really made an improvement, clean and modern, everything else though is just sterile

Specifically talking about looks, the only part of this car that is irrefutably better than it’s predecessor is the rear. The new rim choice is meh, interior seems a bit cheaper to me, door card design seems off, (ambient stripper lighting is already played out), no stalks and both the indicators on the same side of the wheel are still stupid (should have copied Ferrari). Also no new motors/battery/casting? Underwhelming so far.

I like it. Minimalist to the extreme like only a Model 3 can by. Distilled to its essence - a transportation appliance - you can't get more to the point than this.

For all Elon's madness, it's bewildering how clean he is keeping the design of the Tesla cars.

With his ADHD, autism etc he could have gone Homer Simpson on us.

He has impressive creative restraint.

It has a rear screen. So it has rear climate controls.

Also , honestly , given the fact that the car has 2 wireless chargers , the extra usb is pretty useless. I never used any of it. Wireless chargers are way more practical , because the position is also pretty good . Way better than other cars

BTW, that USB is 60W. So that is a nice bonus

It seems also that it's a little longer ( a few cm ) .And bigger cargo space

But , still no 360cameras , and that is a bummer. I wonder what that camera button from the steering wheel is....

It is said that it is limited due to the tires ( for better dampening , idk )

Something is odd.In all videos available , I can't manage to see this camera.

And other press pictures(even tesla.com)

But here it can be seen. Also the steering wheel button looks like a camera one

UPDATE: Tesla updated all their websites and removed any "shade" of front camera.

Yesterday you could see the camera in the first clip on tesla.com in different parts of the world. Now is gone

That is weird as heck

The interior still looks cheap, especially the the ugly looking squared off center console storage lid and the rear climate control plastic surround. Door panels look so plain. There are cheaper cars on the market that have interiors with a better ambiance than this car. The Honda E is one example and even the Fiat 500e (no that is not a Mercedes).

No fake exhaust police needed on this one Thomas or hashtag BS capacitive buttons on the steering wheel lol.
