Model X [Official] Tesla Model X

The Tesla Model X is a battery electric mid-size luxury crossover SUV built by Tesla, Inc. since 2015. Developed from the full-sized sedan platform of the Tesla Model S, the vehicle notably uses falcon wing doors for rear passenger access.
already unavailable. what was it?!

Jeremy Clarkson's review of the X from the latest episode. Felt like a paid advertisement for Tesla, but it was a solid review overall, especially considering Elon and Tesla sued him twice and lost over the Top Gear Roadster review.

It totally embarrassed a R8 V10 plus in a drag race - not a good look for the already lacklustre sophomore iteration of the R8.

I dont think anyone ever watched Clarkson for the objectivity and quality reviews. No surprise that he is nice to Tesla after that history.

Meh, there was nothing new or exciting in that review.
They already lost the case? Didn't Musk say he had data to backup his claim they intentionally tried kill the battery.

Nope - they (Tesla) lost, appealed, then lost again. Elon took emotional offense to that review back then.

Btw, what was up with inviting Paris Hilton? I turned it off as soon as she started talking.

Yeah, he played it way too safe to repair relations. It's the same sort of the review you'd get from any of the YT tech guys.

Because she drove an LFA lol.
Now I remembered who Ivanka reminds me of :D

The SUV challenge was good though .

Holly mother of god, that's some proper misalignment between the doors, is that the same quality that Elon was talking about when comparing to the germans ?

That car should have been cremated at the end of the production line. The 3/4 rear view show horribly unacceptable door misalignment.

:eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2::eek2:

TL;DR
It takes a month or more to buy a used Tesla. $2500 non-refundable deposit. Can't see pictures of said car. Curb rash or any concerns are not addressed. No delivery option.
And unresponsive customer service.

Maybe Rich works for Big Oil after all :ROFLMAO:. I've dealt with the unscrupulous behaviors of Tesla myself... never again.

Oh yea, he also raised a good point about the crazy insurance rates. I paid less of premium for cars like a S65 and DBS than I did for our mid-range Model S.

I know some of the Yuppies driving Model 3's are being killed right now with premiums. That might be the biggest trade-off for not paying for petrol.
