Range Rover [Official] Range Rover Face Lift (L405)

The Land Rover Range Rover, generally shortened to Range Rover, is a 4x4 luxury SUV produced by Land Rover, a marque and sub-brand of Jaguar Land Rover. The Range Rover line has been in production since it was launched in 1970 by British Leyland. Additional models have been launched under the Range Rover name, including the Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, and Range Rover Velar.

The RR looks more luxurious than the G, I suppose it comes down to how they ride and drive?

Yea, I’m waiting until I test both before deciding. But something tells me that it’ll be a much easier process to get a RR without waiting a year or two.

The Range Rover is just strolling right now. Upgrades seats, new touch screen system and a few other extras are enough to remain relevant amongst the G, X7 and new GLS. When the new RR and RR Sports are unveiled in 2-3 years the party will be over for the competition.

Wheels are fitted backwards. A huge pet-peeve of mine with directional design rims. I wonder if this was from factory?

I wonder how will Rolls Royce top this?

By simply being a "Rolls-Royce", quite frankly.

It's not G-Class' mission to fight the RR bio,Bentagya and Cullinan but the upcoming GLS MM and the MM variant of the G.

While the Range Rover is wholesome and satisfying form both a aesthetic and quality point of view, it still has a mass produced feel to it that Bentley and Rolls Royce interiors don't have. They are exquisite and the extra attention to detail makes you feel cocooned from the outside world.

I sound like a broken record now, but lots of people have and continue to cross shop the G & Range Rover Supercharged/Autobiography simply because they're priced about the same. I'm still not sure which will be my final choice.

That's so true though.People do cross shop between these two the most out of all 100K+ SUVs.

I'd recommend a G63 for you for if you can wait get the MM variant which will have long waiting lists.G-Class just screams boss IMO.

My partner's RR came in last week. I'm going to say if you're thinking that infotainment is cutting edge, think again. It's slow to boot and gets seriously laggy when accessing menus in succession, which you'll have to do since some controls are buried in sub-menus.

Typical Land Rover fare. Rest of the car is undoubtedly extremely nice. I'll be picking up a G-wagen in due time, although I'm most excited about what MB is going to do with the GLS.

Not to mention the new Lincoln Navigator had a higher Doug “Dailey Score” :D

I guess a lot will depend on the desired ‘cultural signals’ and ‘tribe identity’ of the individual buyer. The Range-Rover is a safer choice for the tweed-wearing, Polo playing, country set - although white would not be a popular colour choice for them. The G63 will certainly be very popular among Russian oligarchs (as a follow vehicle for the security team to tail a Maybach S650) :D ;)

Can I ask on what basis do you recommend the G63 over the RR, have you driven both of them back to back? As far as I know no journalist has gotten there greasy mitts on a G63.
