2018 Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid Sport Turismo Test | Review | Car and Driver

For the sake of comparison, it weighs 164 lbs more than a stretched S-class Maybach, which has a backseat like this:

This can't be good. Mine is sitting at the port in Houston and is in "inspection" for who knows how long. It even arrived in the US 2 weeks early and now I don't know when I'll get it.

Wow, how the heck Porsche let something as basic as that happen?

FIRST DRIVE: 2018 Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo video review

Took a ride in a Turbo S.... not worth the $35k extra. Porsche needs to do something come time for the facelift - either more power to the V8 (600+hp instead of the same 550hp found in the Turbo) or some weight saving measures. My experiences with E-hybrid (918 aside) have been underwhelming so far.

That interior tho

It's going to be extra power I guess, because loosing weight is going to be very hard if not impossible if they want to keep the level of sophistication, luxury and tech.

Basically, the regular V8 Panamera Turbo needs around 650 hp to keep up with the competition.

Safe to say this is a fantastic car. Good roadtrip vehicle

The center console smudges much less than I thought it would:

I've gotten away with a front license plate for a little while. My luck will run out soon

Don't you get a Porsche microfiber cloth?

That's an extra option . 249€ (you get 2) . If you want the border of the cloth to match your seat stitching, that adds another 349€ (Porsche exclusive) . You can choose all colors, as long as its black. More colors will be available for model year 2020. Did I mention the Micro Cloth Sport edition. No details about that have been announced yet ;-)

I am late to the party. Always loved the Panny and nothing about that has changed.

Desirable car with one of the best cabins in the business. I love the dash and would love to use my ultra plush premium quality microfiber cloths on that center stack!
