Thats not an e hybrid, there is a huge diff in consumption between the 4eh and the 4s, and power is about the same.
Obviously the consumption is not what Porsche states 2.5l/100km. But I’m hearing from owners 5.9-6.4ish and that’s freaking great for something north of 2 tonne with 465hp.

Personally I hate the back interior in this car as it’s so pretty, the blackness takes away and hides the details and finesse of the interior. But it is the most popular and easy to sell, I see 5 black ones before I see 1 of a different color.

Yes, I know - I’m still waiting for 4 e-hybrid examples to reach the dealership. There have been many delays now.

I really dislike how black leather is default for every brand... hides the wow factor or any interior. I’m leaning towards a custom build because I can never find a Porsche with all the specs I want.

Are you in the states? In a carb state ? In that’s case it just got passed by carb and the delivery’s are happening as we speak.

I feel you about the spec thing, that’s I’m why I went custom to. Also there are barely any deals to be had on slightly used ones, you are better off ordering one to your liking. Only downside is the delivery time.

In a turn of events, I just picked up a slightly used Turbo for myself with all the options I was looking for. Got a nice discount over original price. Incidently, the combination is the same as my S - Jet Black/Bordeaux Red. The Tesla is going (finally) and we'll keep the RR.

These are dealer supplied photos. I should be taking delivery in about a week or so.

So I assume this is for the wife? Is she a fan of red interiors as well? I love them but I know they’re an acquired taste.

Congrats and happy miles, the red interior is beautiful!

When you get it tell us everything about it, actually I want to see how you compare it to your S Coupe in terms of comfort, refinement, wind/road noise, etc. One of them is on my radar of car ownership.

Wow so nice, looks like it has a shit load of options, congrats.

Now how much did you get off msrp and also do you have the ambient lighting? In that case could you post some pictures of the different colors ?

Burmester .... no words, wish I could spec that without breaking budget.

This will be my new daily. I somehow was able the make our Range the replacement for the Tesla. Terrible car overall, imo... I don't understand why it's still overhyped online (by techies, predominantly).

Will write a comparison review asap.

About $20k off.

Looks like I may be missing ambient lighting, unfortuately. Didn't realize until you mentioned it.

Damn. That's a sexy spec. Nice catch. Do you like the way it drives?

Right amount of sport and comfort. Love the steering feel and interior.

lovely. Many happy and safe miles Sako!

You did well with the 20k off.

Thing is that you can’t really order a new panamera anymore under 2018, all the allocations are gone until September. And Porsche is stopping any new production and orders from September to year end in order to move over to the new wltp cycle.
People are going ape shit :)

I’m just so happy I got my order in before this, so who knows when people will get their hands on the 2019s, maybe around this time next year.

Ps
I do think you have the lighting system, seems like there is a light around your speakers. I could be wrong though

Looking forward to more reports and pictures once you get it.

Oh and also props on selecting something else than a black interior. With a gorgeous interior like this, it deserves to be in a better color than black. Nevertheless almost 80-90% of the panameras I’ve seen are black inside.

After a long week it’s here. A few peculiar observations so far (more details later)

The rear infotainment center really fascinates me. Much more so than I’d thought I’d be. Useful, yet beautifully designed and flush.

Burmester 3D is amazing. Same as as the unit in the S-class essentially, but nevertheless impressive in a more snug interior environment. A few lossless files on an SD card does the trick to get the best out of it.

I have always been caution about altering the base powerplant. What is the impact in reliability?

He won’t own it long enough to care, and I don’t mean that negatively.

To more directly answer your question, you can't make a blanket statement on this because not all tunes are created equal. With many of the pricier ones from reputable companies you can expect a perfectly normal ownership experience.

ECU flashing puts minimal stress on an engine compared to other forms of tuning. ECU is the brain of the engine, and flashing is updating the software to enable the engine to increase output. The kit came from a reputed Porsche tuner and does not affect warranty. I was actually able do the modication myself in less than 30 mins.

With the 4L from the new E63/S63, I'm seeing that RennTech is able to get that enigne to 775hp/778 ld/tq with the same process. These 4L hot-vee engines are a game a changer... incredible performance, upside for more power, and durability.
