If not for the shitty range, Porsche created the "super vehicle" - for it's range (no pun intended) of abilities and not to be confused for supercar.
It's really impressive how Porsche developed the Cross Turismo.
Everyone was expecting the Taycan with a new body but they adjusted so much more.

Basically, you don't need many (public) charging stations around and charge the Taycan at home at night, because I simply assume that you have a garage and power supply when you drive a 200k EV.

I rarely ever want a car as much as I want this one.
Amazing fun on both gravel and tarmac yet it's painfull watching these beautiful wheels and exotic paint being showered by hundreds of little sharp rocks.
I guess full coverage of body and wheels with Xpel Ultimate is your only option if you intend on extracting the most fun out of this gem of a car.

This cross turismo is amazing i think i like it lite than the normal.. its just something about it.
check out the dark red one in the latest car wow video or the Neptune blue.. just wow

I'm so torn between Crayon and Neptune Blue. I've had my eye on a Crayon Porsche for some time, but the Neptune blue looks spectacular. That said I heard it's a fingerprint magnet, so Caryon is probably the safer choice. Especially with young kids and school bags etc.

Where I live we have a statutory limitation of 8.8 kWh at home. So even though I have a 3 phase supply to my house capable of supporting the maximum 22kWh AC charge, I will have to make do.

Theoretically though I should get a 0% to full charge overnight in just over 10 hours, so I would rarely have to visit one of our non existant fast charging stations.

Just waiting on the announcement of the MY22 cars so I can get my build slot.

Agree on all accounts. That deep red metallic on the Cross Turismo in the CarWow video is phenomenal. Does anyone know what colour it is?

These wheels are a must IMO.

I originally specified the one's above, in a bid to save some $, maintain range and not impact on road noise and ride, however now that more images are becoming available I think the CT Design alloys are incomparable.

I was supposed to get delivery in November, but the chip shortage has delayed this to late January.

To me, the Taycan Cross Turismo (hopefully, there is also a "Sport" Turismo model somewhere in the not-too-far timeline) conveys a highly desirable "Swiss Army Knife"
quality. In Germany, we commonly call this an "eierlegende Wollmilchsau" (or loosely translated: an object that does so many things so well). Sportscar, shooting brake, mild off-road abilities and moderately utilitarian, relatively sustainable and environmentally conscientious, a commanding eye appeal among other things. A "dream garage" rolled into a single automobile. A difficult choice between this and the Taycan sedans. The CT has a far greater variety of wheel options though. Maybe they will eventually migrate to the standard Taycan (that would be nice). Currently, there is no car that I'd desire more. Now-if it weren't for that unpleasant "money factor" that leaves the car nothing more than an unattainable dream.

in other words, the new electric Impreza WRX Wagon, but made by Porsche.
