Cayenne [Official] Porsche Cayenne (Third gen 2018-)

The Porsche Cayenne is a series of automobiles manufactured by Porsche since 2002. It is a luxury crossover SUV, and has been described as both a full-sized and a mid-sized vehicle.
No rear wheel steering is a missed opportunity to take the car's handling and parking maneuverability to the next step.

Damn those beveled edges are an even bigger eye sore in real life photos. They are everywhere, even on the doors and rear seats!! Why on earth did they revive such a cold and dated feature from 1980s car interiors?

Hmm, he previous car interior was more luxurious, I smell a bit of laziness or cost cutting here.

Just look at how little aluminum they put around the side vents, and the upper dashboard is too flat, the previous dashboard central vents position made the sport chrono watch to stand out, it's missing the details.

It seems that these days only MB get the vents done right.

Ok, it's a technical update, rear end looks great, it drives better but is not exciting.

It's really nice I like it. Exterior is improved and so is the interior.. maybe a bit to hard edges in the interior design but all in all its really nice.

But then again I would never buy any suv so I couldn't care less.

Ps
Doesent hold a candle against the panamera design wise

It's fantastic! The only thing that bothers me slightly is the HVAC below the central screen. Needs metal trim or something..

I think it is a really nice update. I see it refined. I like the subtle changes in the front, looks very clean and minimalistic.
It seems i'm the only 1 here who really appreciate the new interior. It has more Porsche DNA now, looks clean, elegant and simple. Yes, it has a little of the 80's look, but i don't see it as a bad thing, it is honest as an utility Porsche should be.

What new A8? ......

The lead-up was more interesting than the car itself. At least there was Spiderman....

Conclusion of the Cayenne after release of official high res pics and IRL pics....boringly predictable outside with an over-bite, acceptable inside. Cayenne S or possibly GTS makes the most sense.

With the revised tail lights, it is the first time in the Cayenne's 12 year history that it doesn't look like an eye sore. I really like it. Interior also looks much better in darker colours.

Biggest meh of 2017 so far.

I think the LCI BMW i3 has already taken that prize.

But you're still stuck with that V6 engine and won't be making any noises whatsoever, either way you're paying more for nonsense options and a tune. GT3 > Cayenne + Panamera sandwiched.

They took away the manual, then they downgraded from V8 to V6, next up will be the steering wheel delete, because we're switching to autonomous cars.

It's exactly what a traditional Cayenne owner wants and expects. It maybe not as spicy, and more like plain old bland black ground pepper to us?
But remember they are planning a Cayenne Coupe. And we have not seen the Turboeror and indeed the Hybrid(s).
