It looks fantastic in this shade of (Signal?) yellow. I've only ever seen three 918s - one black and a silver one in Dubai and our local mogul has a white Weissach with questionable race car decals. In conservative colours it doesn't stand out much more than say a 991 Speedster. It needs the bolder colours to really make its cool details pop, like here. Indeed, absolutely timeless and I can't ever imagine those looks dating. One of the best cars Porsche has ever built and that is saying a lot. Thing is timeless and still has up to date performance.

Edit: I actually prefer the non-Weissach spec cars, looks-wise, as they have a cleaner, less fussy look about them like the example above.
Thanks, works beautifully with the design of the 918.Racing Yellow is color of this 918.
I think it’s in the top 10 of all Porsches ever built. That’s an extremely high honor considering the stunners Porsche has built.

I've always wonder what a RWD 918 with just the ICE engine would be like. Both Carrera GT and 918 are fantastic cars with timeless styling. Personally I would go for Carrera GT because it has a V10 and manual gear. I am not a fan of hybrids and I don’t think these transitorial-engined cars will be that desirable in the future
I think it would be fantastic! Maybe not so fast, but lighter and better.I've always wonder what a RWD 918 with just the ICE engine would be like.
You could always add turbos.I think it would be fantastic! Maybe not so fast, but lighter and better.

Auto underlines how the "hotlaps" are not an "exact science", that the weather conditions are never identical, how is hard to go @ 100% on the 918, which is "virtually" the fastest car, how Balocco is perhaps too tortuous, and the Lamborghini had TrofeoR.

We see old cars being electrified, I think there will be third parties making batteries for those... if no the carmakers themselves. The batteries will be the Holy Trinity's Achilles heels when they age.
