I am curious how the new 718 Spyder will be received. On one hand, it gets all the GT4 goodies - GT4 PASM suspension, bigger wheels, brakes which 981 Spyder didn't. On the other hand, the common wisdom was the Spyder was the better street car than the 981 GT4, cause of those exact reasons - analogue suspension, less ultimate grip, but more delicate and playful handling. And now it probably loses that by gaining GT4 hardware.
I also think 981 Spyder is the best looking modernPorsche in a long long while. 718 Spyder looks great too but lost some of that grace.
The Turbo, although still sickening fast, has lost a bit of its superiority now that many performance cars are AWD and turbo charged. Even an RS3 can blitz off into the distance without trying.
