Hey guys thanks to all for the very nice comments. Truly,truly appreciated!!!! Needless to say....I'm humbled and honored to get the opportunity to work w/ Brenda Priddy...the preeminent auto spy photographer in the World.We have been discussing things for quite awhile....and finally the right opportunity presented itself. This never started out as a way to make money... I'm just a huge car enthusiast who's lucky enough to live where a world class company builds world class auto's.I have invested my time,along w/ some gas money and new camera equipment.This will help keep me going!!!! It all started w/ this forum and a few others....I appreciate everyone's support.I'll continue to contribute and try and add value to this forum.Everything I shoot won't get picked up.Nothing much will change...I'll be around!!!!! Here are a couple of new Hybrid X6 shots I caught this week.Only the second time I've seen this car out.Keeping a pretty tight grip on this car right now.The driver must have been a visiting executive.....made several wrong turns going to the test track...you can see the driver smiling in the 2nd pic......oops.....right or left???? Here are a couple of very short clips of the X6 Hybrid under all electric power.A surreal experience esp after hearing and seeing the 50i X6 roar down the track w/ the firebreathing TTV8.BMW has for sure toned down the NASCAR like exhaust note roar found in the 50i X6.I guess in keeping w/ the "Green" theme.In the 2nd vid the X6 transitions to all gas power as it heads back toward the PC Bld in the last few seconds of the vid.Thanks! New X6 Hybrid X6 Pic's

New X6 Hybrid pic's via LeftLaneNews.Had not seen a Hybrid X6 out in several months.I guess the push for the X"M" launches.Someone told me BMW is still tweaking w/ the Hybrid drivetrain.Not happy w/ intial MPG figures.I was convinced the car was going to launched in Black...only color I've seen the car painted.Usually this far along in the development process some multicolored testers have shown up by now.This week several cars pop up sporting this shade of Blue.....looks pretty close to the color that all the Concept X6 Hybrids were painted.Thanks! Of course they are not. V8 twin-turbo Hybrid is a nonsense. They should rather pair the hybrid system with I6 TT.

I agree.....TTV8 and Hybrid/Green is a very hard act to pull off.Someone told me early on when the X6 was chosen to receive the Hybrid drivetrain,that BMW wanted to prove a point.That you could hookup a TTV8 w/ the two mode hybrid system and have a very fun,sporty car to drive...w/ decent (relative term) MPG for the segment.As a huge car enthusiast/Sports Car nut...I commend BMW for swinging for the fence.I hate to lose the big V8's in this rush to Green.In hindsight.....maybe the I6 would have been a better platform to attack the Greenies.But......the sales meter will tell the final story.Thanks! ActiveHybrid X6 has a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 petrol plus two synchronous electric motors as sources of power. Total system output is 353kW (480hp) and 780Nm, while average C02 emissions are 231 g/km. The average fuel consumption is about 20% less than the equivalent petrol-only powered V8. The vehicle can also travel for up to 2.6km (1.6 miles) at 60km/h (37mph) on electric power alone.
