Huayra [Official] Pagani Huayra

The Pagani Huayra, a successor to the Pagani Zonda, was initially revealed online in a press release on 25 January 2011. It was officially revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car is named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata. The engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo M158 V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG producing 544 kW (740 PS; 730 hp) and 1,000 N⋅m (740 lb⋅ft) of torque. The Huayra's body is made from carbotanium; a lightweight composition of carbon fibre and titanium. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with its predecessor. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h). Only 100 units of the Huayra were produced, each costing £1,000,000 (1.05 million US$) without options.

That interior looks way too busy for me.

Those seats are made out of the same fabric as the 300SL or SLR I read somewhere but there is one that has the same color code this one the customer went ape shit with

Interesting.

Actually, on second look, it's not so bad. Not my style, but sensibilities are no longer as bothered.

There’s a guy in my town that has 2 Huayra’s, including a fully decked out CF Roadster - after a long time studying the design, I came to the conclusion it’s not a pretty looking car (imo) no matter what they throw at (wings, fins, ground effects, etc).

I’m a day one Zonda fan, but regarding the Huayra, there are much better (particularly faster) hypercar buys available.

The simple fact of the matter is that the Zonda left shoes too big for the Huayra to fill. It's akin to that difficult sophomore album which artists struggle matching to their breakout debut.

Not really, it's still the most beautiful Supercar in the market. It actually handles a lot better than Zonda. But lacks the shouting V12. If someone wants the fastest track car, a Senna or one of Mr. Glickenhaus's road cars should be a little faster than a Huayra.

But a Huayra isn't slow either. Over 800 hp in a 1200 kilo car is still very fast. :)

I love the look of the basic Huayra, the first version launched in 2011. It was a worthy successor to the Zonda, wich I also love. But all the version launched after 2011 looks terrible IMO.
