Huayra [Official] Pagani Huayra

The Pagani Huayra, named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata, is the successor to the Pagani Zonda.
I totally agree with you, I also believe the Huayra will advance in power and speed, that TT V12 has so much potential and combined with the light weight of the Huayra body will make it a potentially quicker car than the 3 mentioned HyperCars.
I read somewhere that AMG said its good for 1300hp

I do wonder how much further can they push that TT V12, the basic design is about 15 years old now? Does it still use the 3 value twin spark design or did AMG design a unique cylinder head for the Huayra?
Its a 48valve V12 bespoke for Pagani, its called M158 based on the M275 V12

Huayra sucks on all fronts. Fugly looks to boot.

Honda on the other hand....oh la la......
What you dont like the Boot? Zonda is as previously explained a different monster, many people do not undersand that the Huayra is not a Zonda Replacement:).. I think you will like where the Huayra is heading. Just look at the first Zonda vs the Last one:

Surely nobody is going to buy the car with this color scheme?
Trust me it will sell, you can always get it repainted, these cars are selling at 1.5-2X the price.
however its horrible

That's probably Dr. Dre's Huayra :D

Where?

And why do some Huayras have the US mirrors and some don't?

They are delivered with both mirrors, so the owner can change, regulations says it needs the US mirrors, if the owner changes its up to them, and they will have to take the fines if stopped by FIve-0

I don't think there's so much as "love lost" with the Huayra and Pagani as it has been somewhat overshadowed by the trio of hybrid hypercars from the more established marques. It's still a rather impressive bit of bespoke kit and Horacio's obsessive attention to details is just the best. As @SDNR as said, I am just impressed somebody is able to produce something that pretty darn fantastical. I would love to have a cappucino with the man and pick his brain.

Personally, I prefer the more purposeful look of the Zonda over the more refined and glitzy look of the Huayra.

As for the engine design, my memory's not the greatest these days but I think I asked Wolfgang if they are still using the 3-valve/cyl design, and I think he said yes. But I'll defer to @Wolfgang for something more definitive.

Ive seen them all p1,918,Lafer and Huayra..
I love the 918 and Lafer, but the Pagani is something else, just the way it looks and the attention to detail, its like a Art piece, there is no equal to it in the motoring world. And the experience of dealing with the family.. ile take that anyday over the cold hand treatment of the other 3.

At one time i was more into the Lafer, but then when i experienced both of them in Italy this january and got to sit in them and feel around ( not drive obviously).. i just can't shake the sense of occasion the Huayra offers.. its amazing.. its eye candy .. love it! and very excited about whats next

I was at the factory at the start of the year, Horacio does not make a car that is not somewhat asthetically pleasing to him, they have turned down requests from customers i was told. But as you can see pretty wild things are still possible.

What do you base this non love on? its sold out and it has nothing BUT positive reviews. But then again the Zonda was a different monster a classic car, with the NA engine and much more performance orientated.

The Zonda was the fastest in its day, it was faster than CGT and Enzo.
And ive been saying this since day one, when the Huayra story ends it will be faster than the 918, P1 and Laferrari. Wait and see. This is just the start, the Huayra we have seen thus far is like the Zonda C12, the first one from 1999 it had under 500hp and the last road legal ones have 760hp and are true monsters, and thats from a NA engine. With this TT V12 they are starting at 730hp i expect it to reach around or above 1000hp by the end of its run.

Koenigsegg and Pagani FTW :ylsuper:

Believe it or not, before the Huayra was released I was thinking why not put flaps in a car instead of one single wing? I always have this ideas and turns out they either make it to the market or had already made it years before haah

What were you doing at the factory? Sounds like a great experience

and how much torque?

AMG is known for making torque monsters of engines like the SL65 AMG BS being able to produce 1200nm of torque but is limited to 1000nm from its TT V12
i dont recall exactly but i think it said 1500nm but don't qoute me on that

Im old friends with some ppl that work there, everytime i go to northern italy i visit.
This time i got to see the new Factory, its almost complete, they ar building the showroom as we speak. i expect them to unveil something nice along with the new factory and showroom.

The other cars have these ungainly flaps below the car.

Spice Market, 13th Street. Some sort of rally with the cringe-worthy Lamborghini guy and his gold SV. Nice guy though.

The car has been spotted around the city pretty frequently so you'll probably spot it as well.

That sound system sure looks like bussiness. I wonder if it really sounds as good as it looks? I'm guessing yes

Its a Sonus Faber, given their competence I would say it's probably the best car sound system in the industry. Then again it costs 100k euro!
U can get a bad ass car including speakers for that :)

Sonus Faber?
Yeah, that will probably be the best thing about the car - and that is in no way to put a shadow on the guy who built the speaker box.

^ you trippin homie.

What do you know about this car? Did you drive it? To not like the design Thats one thing, there are many aesthetically challenged human beings (BMW fans).
But to call it bad.. Come on now

I'm a BMW fan too :D but I like the car. Flamboyant as f*ck
Why would someone diss it? AMG engine?

I guess this is as close as possible to a factory custom sound system.

Sonus Faber?
Yeah, that will probably be the best thing about the car - and that is in no way to put a shadow on the guy who built the speaker box.

I don't agree but this sure is funny anyway :D

Did I call it bad? It just happens to like Sonus. The design of the Huayra? Exterior is magnificent, interior is very much not for me.

^oh you like sonus so much that you think their work overshadows the craftmanship that goes into making a Huayra?

Well thats fair, even if that means you must like sounus extremely much..haha

Do Pagani only offer one shade of blue tint for the carbon fiber?
