Future owner previews one-off Pagani Huayra Hermes Edition on Instagram

Businessman and car collector Manny Khoshbin has shared a picture of a new special edition Pagani Huayra.

He posted a teaser image of the supercar on his Instagram account, briefly explaining he went for the exposed carbon option combined with Hermes orange body panels. The vehicle in question is allegedly called the Huayra Hermes Edition, but there’s still no official information about it from the manufacturer. No technical details are available at this point too.

If the car has no mechanical improvements, it will feature the standard 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG-sourced V12 biturbo petrol engine with 730 HP (539 kW) and 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is mated to a 7-speed sequential gearbox with single disc clutch. This setup ensures the 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration takes no longer than 3.0 seconds, while the top speed is rated at more than 380 km/h (236 mph).

Stopping power is provided by Brembo four-piston calipers for the front and the rear wheels with 380 mm carbon ceramic discs.

Rumor has it the Huayra has already been sold out, but the company is working on new hardcore version of the model. It was spotted track testing in October, featuring a massive fixed rear wing and interesting camouflage.

Hardcore Pagani Huayra R Imagined, Has The "Build It Now" Factor

It may not be the real deal, but chances are we might something like it in the future.
it will get the same design as this render, with the bare carbon fiber add-ons, the aggressive front fascia, elongated headlights, large roof scoop, changes made to the sides and the added rear wing is, of course, unknown but rumors about a hardcore version of the Huayra have been circulating for quite some time.

If the, tentatively named Huayra R, is green-lit, then it will get the same 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12 as the "normal" version, but with more power compared to the current engine's 730PS (720hp) and 1,000Nm (738lb-ft) of torque.

With all 100 units of the Pagani Huayra already sold out, the introduction of an even hotter version of the supercar is even more plausible.

However, first we will see the Roadster, which is expected to come next year. The open-top Huayra is not expected to carry any mechanical modifications over the coupe, meaning just over 3.0 seconds for the 0-100km/h (0-62mph) sprint and a top speed of 354km/h (220mph).

Even if we don't know the timetable, Pagani Automobili will surely stick to the successful recipe of the Zonda, which came out in a lot of special, and very enticing, editions.

Pagani teases meaner Huayra BC

Pagani has released a teaser image showing a camouflaged prototype of its upcominghardcore Huayra.

The pic was posted on Facebook with the hashtag “huayrabc” indicating the new model will bear the name Huayra BC. Chances are “BC” stands for something, but we don’t know at this point the meaning of those two letters. We will likely find out in the weeks to come as the model will probably make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in early March.

Spotted testing several times, the beefier Huayra will allegedly be limited to only 20 units and each will cost around $2.7 million. From what we can see, the car will come with a more aerodynamic body kit that will make it look more aggressive and will include a prominent wing and a beefy rear diffuser.

Power is expected to be provided by an upgraded iteration of the AMG biturbo 6.0-liter V12 engine. In the “regular” Huayra it has 730 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque to enable a 0-60 mph (0-96 kph) run in 3.3 seconds and a 230 mph (370 kph) top speed.

A more extensive use of carbon fiber will likely put the Huayra on a diet, so the supercar is going to shed some weight compared to the regular model that tips the scales at 3,064 lbs (1,390 kg).

More power corroborated with less weight will make the Huayra even faster than it already is, so we are very anxious to see the end result.

Pagani Huayra BC confirmed for Geneva debut in March

Our colleagues from Autoblog have managed to find out Pagani will unleash thehardcore Huayra in March at the Geneva Motor Show.

The iconic Zonda received a multitude of special editions and one-offs, but it seems Pagani doesn’t want to go down that road with the Huayra, at least not yet. The company is working on a meaner iteration of the supercar and now we know for sure it will arrive at the beginning of March during the Geneva Motor Show. The news comes from company spokesman Luca Venturi who also said the “standard” Huayra (if we can call it that) is sold out and almost all units have been delivered.

Getting back to the hardcore Huayra, we already know it will receive the “BC” suffix, but it’s unclear at this point what those letters actually mean. Like one of our readers suggested, it could stand for “bare carbon.” If that’s the case, expect the model to lose a substantial amount of weight compared to the current 3,064 lbs (1,390 kg).

Naming aside, the newest Pagani supercar will probably use an evolution of the biturbo 6.0-liter V12 AMG engine which has 730 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque in the regular model. The latter runs the sprint to 60 miles per hour (96 kilometers per hour) in 3.3 seconds and tops out at 230 mph (370 kph), so expect these numbers to improve even further.

Perhaps Pagani will be kind enough to reveal the Huayra BC online in February before bringing it to Geneva. The original plan was to show the Huayra Roadster alongside the BC, but the company changed its mind and will introduce the open-top derivative later this year.

Rumors say that it will 20 cars only, roadlegal but with a kit that makes it track legal only.

I guess we have to wait until geneva to know

Gees I don't think I have seen another car like this that looks like it will take off and fly, that rear diffusor is gigantic!

BC might stand for Benny Caiola? :)

His Zonda was the first Zonda in the US and the first I saw in person. Registered under "show and display". He was among the early believers in Pagani and would later invest in Pagani in the mid-2000s for the development of the Huayra. He passed in 2009, so a Huayra edition in his honor seems fitting.

Huarya chassis 99 is dedicated to Benny and belongs to his family in Long Island.

LOL, I think I am in a significant minority, but I think I like the BC more than the standard Huayra. I say "I think," because I need better pictures. I think the add-ons are better integrated than Pagani's previous effort. At least the front doesn't seem as catfish anymore.
