I absolutely adore that taupe color interior but it seems to clash with the color and texture of the dash materials. That's the interior color I was thinking of getting but it would need to look harmonious with the rest of the interior and it really doesn't. At least not in those photos. Yikes!

It works better if you opt for the black wood on the center console

It's Bosch who can't deliver the 48V units.
It is a tremendous blow, the GLC and the E are both volume and margin.
Why isn't this affecting anyone else? The other German manufacturers and others also use these 48V systems and Bosch is the supplier par excellence.

It leaves free way for the 5 series, also recently presented, to exploit the novelty and monopolize sales at the same time that the E-Class loses a key "momentum" of freshness, not to mention that the tons of millions invested in advertising, marketing for the launch they will have to repeat next year

Presumably because Mercedes uses the 48V system in a much much wider range of models from their 2L all the way through to their 4L engines.

It is of course disappointing, this occurs in this early stage of introduction. The reason is, as @AbsoluteUnit says;

As far as the PHEV models go, these can be delivered much earlier. The PHEV unit used is made in house by MB itself. No issues here.

Korean E Class

You show your jealousy by badmouthing class E for funny reasons. The 5 series played the game badly...
Yeah man, imagine, posting positive content about the brand you like on a forum and trying to pass its main competitor as the worst thing ever.

Does this bot behavior sound familiar?

Today at Auto Zurich I had the opportunity to briefly get behind the wheel of the W214 that was on the stand. In terms of space, it didn't convince me at all; it seemed quite narrow to me.

One more argument for buying an S-Class... ;)

Had the same feeling when I first sat in the car. It is really big on the outside but not very roomy in the inside. The edge of the superscreen kept bumping my knee

I’m surprised to hear that. Most new cars feel bigger and bigger inside. Is shoulder room in the rear narrow?
