you are so funny

You're right, the 5er will likely be more upscale, particularly the inside.

The S stands a chance agaisnt the 7 but the A8 man what is that face looks like a normal A4,how can someone design the RS6 the RS8 and then come up with this

The face is nice but where the front of the A8 looks like an A4, the rear of the S class looks like an A class......

Compact

Hmm. I don’t remember charging ports in roads through the Lava fields in Timanfaya?
Unless they are powered by Lanzarote’s Volcanos? Or maybe the Diesel Generator is just out of shot? :p

The back of the S-class looks more original than the 7-series. The 7 series is reminiscent of an old Mazda 3. Asian style.

Even the 7 series is no more luxurious than this machine. you are silly.

I am surprised that we never got this form of technology in the window lifts as it seems to be used everywhere else.

Seems "Shy Tech" was quietly invented by BMW back in 2003.

I think you found the worst picture of the S-Class available ?but still i like the i7 ,unlike the W223 which is just bland compared to the i7 which is a badass
I tried to pick an S class in a similar setting. But what I think is happening is, when put side by side, the 7 is not that ugly and the S is no that pretty. So things balance out.

How beautiful it looks with that color, that photo illustrates this fact very well:
Looking calmly at the promotional material, the new 7 is like a slap in the face to the entire establishment.
As much as I love the S and its seamless elegance, this feels like a more advanced design, as the next step.

Many things can be said, but not that it is more original but on the contrary, basically nothing in the S is more original, it is only necessary to compare the photos you posted with the same ones of the W222, it remains in the same tune.
The dashboard, on the other hand, is original, but not more than the 7

Great catch! Look for that photo everywhere the last days, there is even a better one, a close up in HQ in one of the "individual" catalogs, I thought I had dreamed of it, at that time I wondered why that system had not been spread, maybe not It was the correct time, or perhaps someone understood that the normal "button" was more practical due to costs, I always expected it to appear later as standard, but perhaps that was loosely thrown around without context, it did not attract attention like today in all its glory, I hope you can find the photo i mentioned, I couldn't.

 Sometimes
it seems that the EQS was the concept of the 7 series, as in the previous photo I posted with the screens on the armrests and now I find this one, the tiny lights and the "logo-grill" illuminated, obviously the 7 is already ready when the EQS concept came out, but it is another clear example of a decision with balls against a shy one, either because of costs or because in Mercedes they were too busy making two cars instead of one, killing this beautiful concept and basically all its details, since the precious dashboard was implemented in the S......

Taking the trouble to make these crazy things a reality is the big difference that inclines me towards 7, from the rest of the EQS better not to mention
The watchword at BMW with this car must have been, this time we must outdo the "S" and whatever else they put in front of us,, and that's laudable.

Once again and as always BMW giving classes on how to make a sedan in the second space age.

Before comparing G70 to W223 and trying to find out which is best, I would wait until seeing both irl in front of you. All those pictures say nothing to me.
Compare the interior of both, in all their glory, irl, best side by side. Only than one can form a proper opinion.

And please, stop comparing EQS to i7. EQS is no S class, it's the ev equivalent of an E class.

I like the I7, its the only true luxury EV so far.

People buy big luxury sedans to drive long distances. Is this able to reach a minimum 300 miles at highway speeds? It doesn't look too aerodynamic to me and we don't need another under 300 miles EV.

I believe that these are 22" wheels

Yes, they are, it's a shame I didn't find (or there aren't yet) better photos or a profile to measure them well.

Color data
THe 7 have the Laser lights, with a new version that they designed that now complies with the regulations for the USA.

Spot on André! And as a regular long distance driver, I'd like to see a range of at least 625 miles. It's not only the distance that you can cover, that counts, but also minimizing the tedious act of filling it up. May that be with fuel or electricity.

Go and have a seat in EQS and EQE; than you know what I'm talking about.
I am actually surprised that there is not an EWB EQS. Maybe they see the same values as the i7 only having one. Or Maybe the Maybach will improve on this?

They're available as 22"s according the release materials for the M760e...
