What a majestic grill on the S65. It is enough to differentiate it from S63 and the "ordinary" S classes. Let see what they will come up with for the rumored Mercedes-Maybach variant.

Yes Pagani, we desperately need it But must wait. Sure it's only question about time. MB is going to test new type suspension this winter. It would be compatible with all 4Matic & hybrid models. It's said they could change their hydro- elements to electro-mechanic ones. But I'd like they replace steel springs with adaptive pneumatic also.

And guys, did you notice one important technical difference in gear boxes between S65 and S63? It seems S65 has traditional converter instead of wet multi-clutch package in S63. S65's AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC: The efficiency of the power train is further significantly improved by the fuel-economy converter... And letters MCT don't appear anywhere about S65. At the same time S63's press-release directly points to AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission.

About differentiation between S65's and S63's interiors. The only one thing I've found till now is from S65 press-release: other features of the Exclusive package include the nappa leather roof liner (exclusive to the twelve cylinder models), leather-lined dashboard, door center panels in a diamond-pattern design, leather-clad roof grab handles, additional wood trim and AMG stainless-steel door sill panels illuminated in white.

Nappa leather roof liner is awesome. I sat in an M6 GC yesterday with Nappa roof liner (half Nappa half suede) and it really adds to the exclusivity…

1) V12 6.0 L M275 weighs 271kg (dry) - used on previous V221 S65, on current V222 S65 it is modified M279;
2) V8 5.5 L M157 weighs 204kg(???) - current V222 S63.
