Yes, almost 19 years. I've been through a number of facelifts and i've seen them completely rework the dash on the C-class, move shifters, etc. So, yes, it can be done, and your tone sounds insulting. I'm speaking to offering materials that are Mercedes level, not fully redesigning the car itself. The infiniti offers a lower base price and is not a brand new vehicle. It is more than simply the platform. it is a rebadged GLA chassis, with a bolt on items reworked by suppliers, much of which is simply cosmetic.^ you do work for Mercedes dealership right? I though you had better understanding of how automotive industry works. This is a facelift for heavens sake and the vehicle in question is not a significant sales puller. No automotive company would ever invest millions on such an extensive facelift when a brand new replacement vehicle is just 3-4 years away. The infinity in question is a brand new vehicle on the MFA platform, there is a difference! GLA was launched in 2014 which means its design was finalized during 2008/2009 period.
Better materials are still needed as is on road refinement. Still though I like it better than the CLA.

They also limit the choices of wheels as well. specing the E class is frustrating because of the extremely limited interior color and trim combination as well as the lack of choice in wheels. Why do they force customers to have the same wheel selection for say the E 200 and the E 400?In the quest for volume MB Australia continuously removes the ability for its customers to customize vehicles across the range and select options as you require them. Our options sheets are now very short and don't have half the items available overseas, particularly on higher end models.
