Macan [Renders] 2021 Porsche Macan E

The Porsche Macan is a compact luxury crossover SUV (D-segment) produced by Porsche since 2014. It is the smaller SUV from Porsche below the Cayenne. The first-generation Macan went on production from February 2014 with petrol and diesel engine options. In 2024, Porsche released the second-generation Macan which is a battery electric vehicle built on the dedicated Premium Platform Electric (PPE) EV platform.
I saw one last week. It looks great in person. Like a re-fresher Macan. You can’t tell from the front that it’s an EV. Rear end looks a bit eggy but like i have said before, a Rear top spoiler would fit that.

That's a nice spec, right there. Looks like Jet Black Metallic with Bordeaux leather. Looks mean and aggressive.

Saw one in kensington.

Looks like bubblegum on wheels. Jacked up polished citroen c1 on stilts with oversized wheels.

Hardly a thing of beauty.

Hope london follows paris and bans these pointless SUV’s

lol funny description. There are way worse looking EVs on the market.

Oh yeah definitely, BYD junk and MG junk.

No SUV is actually good looking, some may look purposeful but that people actually call them stunning is weird as f#ck.

Like, what do they call cars that are actually a thing of beauty if a slab of metal apparently is?

Most SUVs are hard to classify as beautiful. Some of my favourites are more rugged, handsome, tough etc but not beautiful.
The current Range Rover, however, can most certainly be described as beautiful. Maybe Aston DBX too, to an extent.

The X5 is getting a bit old but I think it was absolutely stunning when presented (getting old now). And the iX3 Concept looks ever better. G class same story, it's stunning.

Guess I am weird.

Lost ya on the iX3 part.. but yeah the pLCI G05 was perfection. Sporty proportions, chunky yet aggressive headlights, sleek taillights, really love it.

Fascinating that they both find the RWD versions to the music more fun to drive and have more connected steering wheel, even at 20mph. I didn’t know that the front motors add more than 100kg/220lb over the front axle.

Good to know if you are ever buying an EV. Test drive both all and AWD variants.

Next to the 992.2 911s, my favorite current Porsche.
