E-Class (W213) [Official] Mercedes-Benz E-Class W213

The W213 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, sold from 2016 as a 2017 model. It succeeded the W212/S212 E-Class models. The coupe/convertible models share the same platform as the sedan/wagon, in contrast to the previous generation. The high-performance Mercedes-AMG E63 and E63S versions of the W213 have been available as well from 2016 (as a 2017 model), and these are the only versions with V8 engines.
Hi Mick where is your review ? whats your thoughts.
Last May I already reviewed an E 350 d. I haven't got much time on my hands to write a review about the E 220 d. The most striking difference between the E 350 d and E 220 d is the fuel economy. I didn't post pictures of the 4 cylinder, because it's the same colour and exterior as the ones I've posted already in May (selenite grey and AMG line). If you have a specific question however, concerning the E 220 d, feel free to ask.

Hey just to clear you mean the car you drove did not have the wrist touch pad ? Was the car your drove AMG spec and diesel ?

Nice to see you enjoyed the drive I love my E class

Any suggestions anyone how to clean my seats it's half suede ?

Hi. Yes it was an E220d AMG Line Premium, not sure it had the Plus pack.

It did have the Wrist rest/touch pad and I found it just got in the way. It was actually hurting me :(

Think I would prefer it wasn't there so I could just use the wheel, like I do on the iDrive in my BMW.

I think they should develop a torsion AWD system which has three settings:

Pure RWD - eliminating the front wheels completely
Rear biased AWD
Pure grip AWD with an equaled distribution

I assume you meant torsen and eliminating the front wheels, not rear...and truly if you want to achieve what you're asking torsen isn't the way to go.

Yes, and I meant a longitude Torsen based system, which has the option of turning off the front wheels

It would be nice to get some interior pictures of the E63. The shifter is usually mounted on the center console in the amg versions. Hopefully that will continue to be the case for the E63, but I did not see this in the E43.

It's a column shifter in the C63 and S63 too.

Visually, the vehicle i.a. the power domes and Jet Wings to recognize, the wheel arches also be widened. The specifications were by internal slide presentations first details to the public: the new E 63 as will now be equipped with a 4-liter V8 BiTurbo (Type M177), but this is not a great surprise. New, however, are the engines where Mercedes-AMG now the model with 571 and 612 PS - thus equipped with 750 and 850 Nm of torque. During the E 63 model in under 3.7 seconds to sprint to 100 km / h, it completed the top model E 63 S already in 3.5 seconds.
