My dad is at about the same age, does the same thing as yours too, sleeps, TV, and sleeps.
Yeah, I noticed how much more comfortable the seats are on the new E class. I drove the E 200 today, maybe you can add a bit more to my review here.Did the E350d test drive on Saturday, interesting and at the same time not surprising. The biggest thing I noticed straight away was the weight of the doors, on the C they're light, on the E theres a bit more heft.
Sport dials remind me a little of the W124 (sans oil, temp & fuel / or economy gauge), navigation is a win (clear, concise, quick).
As much as I wanted to drive the E220d, it wasn't available when we were, so had to dip out on that one, but the TTV6? Torquey! has a nice little snarl to it too.
Interior is a nice mix of S-Class & C-Class, big difference are the seats, even on an AMG E, they're softer!, will fill you in more later.
That's right Clarice.I'm excited to see the vertical grill bars.
They remind me of Hannibal Lecter's face mask.
Why MB does not offer a combo like this really makes me scratch my head. Car looks so much better.![]()
