C-Class (W206) [Official] Mercedes Benz C-Class (W206)

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W206) is the fifth generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class which is produced by Mercedes-Benz Group AG since 2021. It replaces the W205 C-Class which had been produced since 2014. The fifth-generation C-Class is available in sedan (W206), station wagon/estate (S206), and long-wheelbase sedan (V206) body styles. The W206 C-Class is based on the Mercedes MRA II rear-wheel drive modular platform also used by the W223 S-Class.

Any chance to do away with the easily-scratchable glossy black plastic trim that, for example, the A-Class or the EQC has in the centre console? It seems that if you choose the wood trim, then it will be accompanied by the cheap black plastic but there seems to be some kind of metal mesh trim too, which then seems to remove the black plastic. No chance of wood + no-plastic combo? We need the configurator up NOW!

^There are only two trim designs available. Piano lacquer or carbon fibre.

If only it was real piano lacquer i.e. real wood painted glossy black with multiple layers of lacquer on top. But I bet it’ll be the same cheap black plastic that will get scratched just trying to wipe finger prints off it with a micro fibre cloth. I have it in my 2019 A-Class and it looks terrible

Of course they presented the more luxurious versions. Of course the front is very aggressive and sporty. Let's see how the various configurations and the basic version with manual climate controls are. Overall nice car, even if you have to see it live

The real piano lacquer on the cup holder cover and around the iDrive module in our 8 is an absolute nightmare. It scratches even if you sneeze on it. The plastic mock laquer that surrounds the ventilation controls etc is far more durable. Most people would also have a hard time distinguishing the two.

Nope. I'm not into it.

I refuse to accept this interior as MB worthy, not in the C, not in the S, not in anything. The rear is as generic as it can possibly get before it starts not looking like a car.

I'm sure, engines, quality, refinement, equipment, etc will be top notch, but I'm just not into it. Sorry.

What kind of interior would you prefer? Any examples? I for one like the Taycan interior

Take away the star, and the front and rear could be a number of different cars. There's not much in terms of "Mercedes-Benz." The side profile cuts a handsome figure. Interior? Better than expected from the spy pics in terms of observable material quality. Those vents look odd to my eyes despite the homage to past M-B's. The seats look like it'd be a nice place to pile up the miles.

No pictures of the non AMG line, or the Chinese only classic grill variant?

From what I've seen, the car looks great. I loved the W223, and I love this. Not a big fan of the touch only interior though.

Unique to see the T-Modell launched at the same time for once. Usually takes several months after initial sedan.

It's not my bag, but I think the interior will sell it for a lot of people. Exterior is fine, nothing interesting but not un-attractive.

Am I the only one not liking the inverted grill? Great car otherwise.
If you see the photos of the comparison between the previous one and this one, the inverted grill is one of the few things that must be done to differentiate generations.
I think that part looks very good and updated

My one fear and from photos it's not entirely clear, but I think it may be true... The black trim on the door panels where the speaker is could be hard plastic... if so, that would be awful
