The quoted 0-60 time isn't any faster than the previous-gen C43. That's what happens when MB doesn't watch its weight.

Yeah to me yes, it does look a smidge better than that one too.

I just love the way it looks. I wish I didn’t hate 4-cylinder engines so much. Ugh.

The new C43 looks great, I like the new 19inch and 20inch wheel design as well as the look of the sports seats.

The 4cylinder produces alot of power 300kw compared to 287kw in old C43 but 20nm less torque than the previous inline 6.

Weight increased to 1765kg (previous 1630kg) but this is only 35kg more than the M340i.

0 to 100kmh surprise is only 0.1sec faster than previous model at 4.6sec but is 0.2sec slower than the M340i claim.

Fuel consumption dropped from 9.7l/100km to 8.7l/100km, which in my opinion is not that much of an improvement considering it also has 10kw of mild hybrid boost etc. Also its higher than the 7.5l/100km BMW claim for the M340i.

So really what is the advantage of this 4 cylinder when it uses more fuel than rival 6cylinder engines?

Looks great!

More subtle than the M340i.

Would have been a stunning package if the interior finish lived up to expectations.

The alloys remind me of the 21 inch RS Spyder Wheels.

Exterior design is really good imo, though they could have used slightly less black plastic the front lower bumper and grill. In film and foto interior doesn't look half as bad. It's the lower part of the interior however that irl will disappoint with it's hard plastic. Nevertheless, overall a good looking car and for those not minding the 4 cylinder-only strategy a strong offer.

The 20" alloys are nice. Also like the rear bumper, it looks very sporty and elegant.

I honestly don't even mind the 4 pot on the 43 but on the 63 it will be very hard to digest.

nothing official yet, but german car websites expect the price to be above EUR 65,000.

New C43 looks great in blue and also as an estate. I probably prefer the T-model to the saloon, it just looks more balanced.

Rear end with silver exhaust surrounds and 4 tail pipes looks noticeably sportier than the regular C-class.

Good thing that the 4cylinder is halfway positioned over the front axle. That front strut brace splits the engine almost in the middle. The front end should have better grip than the previous inline6 with the lighter smaller engine upfront. Possibly less understeer.
